The real reason

When Pragya learnt of Tannu's pregnancy, she thought of walking out of Abhi's life because she wanted Abhi to be happy with the love of his life and have his family, and she wanted to Daadi to get great grandchild she aspired for.

Yeh Im not really understanding her thought process anymore! I genuinely thought after learning abhi loved her she would fight to stay in his life, but instead she seems to be using this love to make him go to Tanu?!? W*F?!?

Yes and so quickly. Even more odd was that for a minute she was overjoyed and hugged, let him kiss, let him sleep on her lap and one phone call from Tannu, she just turned the plate. So did she when she learnt of Tannu's pregnancy, decided to call a poignant love proposal an April fools joke! And deciding to hurt Daadi was.. Oh dear. I never expected Pragya who seemed to value relationships so much to take them for granted this way.

I agree, when she thought they loved each other that was a solid reason to leave him, he got her pregnant and they always loved each other and she for want of a better phrase, was a "third wheel" but now that isn't the case!!!

The funny part is when he told her he loves Tannu, she told him it's superficial and that real relationships are made of bonds not decorations (KC episodes). Now that a kid is in the picture, all those beliefs fall apart even when he is trying to tell her he wants this relationship as much as she does!

The CVS are making her actions completely senseless and illogical. She's supposed to be a professor,... I get tha she feels guilty but come on?! If Tanu has no qualms about aborting her child then why should Pragya care! Furthermore she isn't looking selfless anymore she's just looking damn stupid! Nobody wants what she is pushing! clearly abhi and dadi and the whole,family are against their seperation!!! arghhh wake up pragya!!I want her to grow a back bone and for once in her life fight for what is hers!!! Arghh and this new promo is making my head explode! Not in a good way!!

Guilt is fine. If she can't deal with it, just cut with him and leave. And let him live! Why force what she wants and reduce her guilt by trying to make him pay for a mistake he unconsciously did (never did in reality). Oh dear.

And yes the new promo freaked me out too. Not for her accident, but for the fact that she learns truths out of overhearing not out of her own effort or will. I am just hoping it's gonna be something very different from what is shown!

First of all I don't know how you did your cool quoting in my comment lol but I'm a little more technically challenged so I've done my best to respond in a manner that makes sense!! (Lol)

In reference to your first point,She definitely turns! One minute it's all for the elders, "we can't hurt them" Dadi and Sarla ma tend to get these crazy weak immune systems and hearts! But as soon as it suits to do so that is all conveniently forgotten and lost! I mean I completely get that this is one messed up situation but I really do feel her character and essence is being made a mockery off! It's frustrating because she isn't meant to be this weak minded! And how had she conveniently forgotten everything Tanu has done to her! It's one thing to step aside and let your husband take his mistress as his wife but actually fight Tanu's corner and be the pivotal force in bringing her into MM - well that is something that i really do not understand!

Again! I completely agree! Tanu's love for Abhi was superficial at one time but now because we have an illegitimate child in the mix - it's "true love" - by her own feelings and admission she cannot possibly think Tanu lovesAbhi? And if she does what new evidence does she have of this other than the pair of them getting drunk and Abhi knocking her up! (And the dramatic irony of this is... HES NOT EVEN THE BABY DADDY!!!! And now she knows he loves her how can he possibly keep Tanu happy!? And what's more isn't that the reason Purab didn't marry Aliyah ... Because he DIDNT love her. (I think Aliyah missed a trick here she should have got Purab drunk, slept with someone else and then pinned it on Purab! Least that would be a legitimate reason for them to marry!)

Struck the biggest chord for me! Why on earth does she feel
Guilty?!? She's done nothing wrong - if anything as the victim in all of this the last thing she should be doing is trying to fix this! I know she loves Abhi and his problems are hers but there is a fine line between selflessness and stupidity! And she should just leave... It's not down to her to make Abhi marry Tanu! It's up to Abhi. And while I'm on the subject of Abhi... He should have more faith in himself...
If he doesn't believe he would have slept with Tanu why isn't he pushing this... Where is this DNA test?!! Of all people Abhi should know how Tanu can be and if there is the slightest chance she could be lying then he should be holding on to that like a drowning man with a float!

I think Abhis character has grown loads! He's gone from this arrogant cheeky rockstar to someone that has more layers and depth to his character. Pragyas on the other hand seems to be winding backwards. She used to be logical and practical. Now she's almost always a quivering mess. She makes choices and forces decisions based on emotions and not logic and fact like her character should!

I 100% agree - considering she is supposed to be a brigh empowered woman, it's sad that the only way to have her work this one out was to over hear and not have her use her brain to work out the sea of inconsistencies in plain view of her! It's almost like the CVs have lost the essence of her character and now she is just a regular mahan bahu! I want our professor back!

And with this accident who knows!!! I would like to see something completely knew and different - but knowing our luck, it's most likely a dose of amnesia or coma to go with our serving of pregnancy!! Arghh!!! We've got to hold it together! I hope we get through this lol

I think she just wants the child to have a proper father. She doesn't want to have to live with the guilt of keeping the father away from his child. Like yes Abhi could still be a part of the child's life and be with her but at the same time she probably feels it wouldn't be the same as a full hands on dad. She feels like she'd be taking all that away from the child if she is with Abhi and wouldn't be letting him fulfill his responsibilities towards the child. I think she thinks that if she wasn't in the way then Tanu and Abhi could make it work so she's basically forcing them together and hoping they'll see that.
