Really good post!

Absolutely agree with you. I think men, in general, get more attached to the woman they love. In my opinion, women are just better equipped at handling emotions. Not to say all men are like this.

With that said, Abhi cannot live without Pragya. Many of you said he would destroy himself and I completely agree. Pragya would be able to handle it in the sense that she'd be sad, but she'd continue to live day-to-day life whereas Abhi would just lose it. I mean when she said she didn't love him, he lost it! I'm pretty sure if she left he would react in more or less the same way.

not that Abhi will destroy himself but he will be broken and it will be hard for him to go through it ...

Abhi can't take care of himself which pragya did most of the time so when he says pragya can handle him very well which means if she leaves he cannot imagine at that thought of leaving her which is like a nightmare for him.He will not be able to concentrate on anything but just imagine her everywhere which will only lead to depression .Maybe daadi will be there to help him to

Absolutely!

Abhi isn't emotionally strong that is why he always reacts before thinking... he has no control over his emotions whether it is anger (CPR issue) or concern (when he asked pragya to promise him to never leave his hand...he wasn't even aware of his feelings for her ..remember?) So yeah... "mard bano mard" won't work for him in this case...
