Hi guys! So I don't normally post anti-Abhi stuff but I have them moods and as a fan of him this is purely a post over current situation and mainly over all episode in which Abhi has hurt Pragya and it makes me think how strong one has to be to love so unconditionally. But I guess Pragya too has some expectation because every good non expectant souls always has desired deep within whether they are fulfilled or not and I think there is nothing wrong in hoping sometimes after all she does deserve happiness.
So coming to my point. Well remember episode 50 or something anyway the suhaag raat episode - every time I think about it I have to say I get so angry at Abhi - because what Pragya experienced I don't think any girl should go through and nothing can justify Abhi's actions on that night. It's one thing marrying a girl to let your sister get her love but another thing to become hell bent on destroying her life which for me seems beyond repair. Even if Abhi had married the right girl, I don't get who he is to decide who falls in love with who, Aliya is a grown woman who should be able to understand what is right and wrong, but then that's another thing so coming back to my point, I drift off a lot, there I go again...
Anyway, but I guess we expected Abhi to regret ruining an innocent girls life after he learnt the truth when Purab eloped but no, he continued to torture her. One episode I still hate cause of this is when Abhigya were at the hotel for Abhis producer meeting about an Ad shoot was it? But Abhi threatened to kill Pragya with a knife. Okay the mood was quite jokey but still Pragya put up with it when any other girl wouldn't have given a damn about her family or Daadi, she would have left long ago for her own happiness but Pragya always put everyone before her, her sister, maa, even Abhi after he made her life a living hell. And when it came to her happiness he happily forgot everything they went through together hand in hand and broke her heart in a matter of seconds. However before the balcony scene with Pragya about to fall off he had redeemed himself very well, especially in the kidnapping track.
Today's episode, Abhi should have not said - I have to say a very cute and loving - proposal, he could have just kept it to the love of the family's to encourage Pragya not to give up. What was the need to confess and then break her few hopes that had arose again? Why, Abhi why? I know he gets annoyed with Purab and his plotting to get him to realise his love but before he had to jump to conclusions did it really hurt to ask Prgaya if she was involved in all of this when he sure knows everytime he doubts her he is always, 100% wrong and out of place? Was it really so much effort? He said many hurtful words, which may not have mattered to Pragya in the early days of marriage because their was no love or any other bond holding them together but now she loves him and what's the worst thing to be told, that whom you would happily die for tells you they want you to stay away, that they presumably hate you? I know Abhi didn't say this directly but he did say "She is playing games with me and I hate people who play games" well I'd like to see how that works out when he finds out what his girlfriend had been planning, an explosive bomb that would be.
But anyway, Pragya is one girl whom I have always felt has been underestimated and taken for granted. Abhi was one bright spot on a horizon of darkness for Pragya but it only flickered for a few moments and went out leaving her in nothing but a pool of darkness. I think Abhi does deserve to go through his share of pain and if words may describe it as a "revenge" when Pragya refuses that she loved him I guess Abhi will realise what it feels like to be told that, to be treated as a joke of a life.
I am sorry if anyone disagrees, I just wrote what I felt and trust me - AT behnas back me up here - I do like Abhi, he is a caring and loving human being, that he proved to me when he was shot and his words to Pragya but sometimes he is wrong with actions. Please leave your thoughts in the comments, I would love to read!
And here are some edits to go with Pragya's heartbreak - standing ovations to acting by Sriti!
