And then Abhi did actually notice her...can't wait for tomorrow when he intervenes in the shoot and takes the male models place.

Navz,

I am not saying Pragya should have done better as a model. She wouldn't have, she is no model, not even interested in it. BB would have done a better job, may be.

I am sure they could find a much better model who could do this. Models/actresses are meant for this anyway, they gotta make you believe in something, love, sacrifice or whatever.

If left to Pragya, the scene would have turned out very awkward since she is not at all comfortable 'acting' even for the sake of it. I think she ends up doing a good job with Abhi because she gets into the moment and does not really act.

But imagine her having to act with that model, she would have been hell uncomfortable and not done well. I am not blaming Pragya for not doing well. Given her personality and background, it's not her cup of tea.

(And this is not about Sriti at all. Sriti did a great job to show Pragya's discomfort).

Boils down the point on why Pragya chose to do it. Again I feel she didn't need to. Abhi was not desperately looking for a model for Pragya to cover for it.

Yes, Abhi did notice her, but she could do that for him at home, I mean dressing up differently than putting up this whole show, if the point was to let Abhi know she can look pretty too.

But Pragya's point was more about not wanting some other girl/Tannu. I don't even know she knew what she was getting into when she agreed to do it upon Purab's insistence.
