in the karva chauth episode...abhi said he went on a date with tanu one year ago..along with two other girls...he triple dated...😆...in the episode where tanu ask him to meet her parents for the lohri episode..she said her father has been waiting six years for abhi to marry her...so I just wanted to know if it is actually one year or six years that they have been having an "affair"...😕

I understood it as Tannu's parents are insisting that she should get married for the past 6 years. I don't think it meant she was dating Abhi for that long. Like you said Abhi and her went on first date during the last year V day as mentioned in KC episode and even in the beginning of the show, Abhi says they are dating for 8 months.

So since they referred twice, I think they are only dating for a little over a year.
