Hello all.

So to keep it simple, let me introduce you to Raghav Chopra.


He is a character Ish (Martinski) and I (Mina) invented to add some FUN to AbhiGya's life.

Basically he is a long lost friend of Pragya's, who may or may not have also been her boyfriend or lover for a short time.


We use him to make Abhi jealous.



It's all for fun and games.


And yes, he's sort of half based on the character from Sriti's old show, and we picture him as Harshad Chopra.


Sometimes Ish and I write random drabbles about him. Others are welcome to join if they wish! The stories are not necessarily connected to each other. They are also not in any order.

A: I never knew this side of you

P: a) relax Raghav is my best friend and I have done so many things with him b) if I tell you you won't listen and then you will think I'm sleeping with him and get us married c) There's a lot of things you don't know about me!

A: okay I deserved that! I'm sorry I did not mean to doubt you it's just I wish we had moments that were real and normal

*day of prasu wedding arrives!*

*pragya gloomily submits to all dressing up, she has agreed to be a bride*

*everything is in place! abhi's paid off panditji is lighting the holy fire in the hall of mehra mansion itself*

*dulhe raja present and accounted for in beautiful golden white outfit given by brides' helpful ex-sasural! does not come riding in on a horse but the rockstar has promised a shiny new scooty as a wedding present so that will be nice*

*everyone gathered together, awaiting the bride coming down from the stairs*

*rockstar rubbing his hands in glee! today he will get his biwi back! and have fun putting on a big show for everybody! gonna be a red letter day! heyy maybe his biwi will give him red day kissies once it's all said and done! woohoo!*

*tick tock tick tock mahurat (holy hour) is passing away, where is the bride??*

*bride's biological family stands to the side looking miserable*

*aaliya tanu all smiles! billox for the win today! little do they know monkey baba abhi has stuffs going on...*

*rockstar gets impatient and yells -"HAAAYEEE, WHERE IS THE BRIDE? CHASHMISH, COME DOWN OR I WILL GET YOU MYSELF! Bulbul go fetch your sister"*

*Bulbul glares*

*Suresh mopes; he's only doing this because BB convinced him he ruined Pragya's life...*

*SUDDENLY A BEAUTIFUL VOICE IS HEARD*

*Don't worry rockstar, I am here!!!*

*everyone turns to the door - oh my god it's pragya!!*

*what a beautiful bride! but what's this?? she already has the phool maala and the tikka* and oh my god is that a new mangal sutra and fresh sindoor??!*

*SOMETHING HAS GONE HORRIBLY WRONG*

*rockstar's heart is in his throat!!*

*pragya steps into the house - wearing shoes, because this is not a griha pravesh after all! wrong location!*

*and...and...and...SOMEONE follows her in...*

*oh my god it's that sexy lumberjack underwear model guy - that old friend of hers - oh my goddd he's all dressed in black and gold and he's got the phool maala too oh my god! he's A GROOM!*

*what is happening!*

*pragya clears her throat as she approaches her once and former husband. "rockstar, sorry i didn't wait for your pandit, but you see raghav and my mahurat was an hour earlier than the one you set, so we just went to the mandir and got the job done!"*

*abhi opens and closes his mouth like a helpless fish - "whu -how -huh??"*

*pragya smiles and allows her new and present husband to pull her into a side-embrace in front of EVERYONE. "you see rockstar, very simple. you said i could only leave this house as a bride, that your only guarantee that i'd never re-enter your life was if i became someone else's ball and chain. well my love i'm all about doing what you want! only i couldn't marry suresh since he still has the hots for my sis. luckily raghav was available and willing!*

*pragya smiles up at raghav, he leans down and kisses her cheek, and grins at the crowd*

*pragya turns to wave at her mother. "hi maa! you remember raghav naa? you always said he was like a son to you and you wished your jamai would be like him? well now you can be happy right?!"

*sarla beams and comes up to give the new couple aashirwaad - "yes i am so happy! well done pragya shabaash! welcome my new betaji, raghav!!"*

*abhi having fits*

*suresh nearly hyperventilating in relief. bb takes pity on him and helps him calm down*

*billox watching with dropped mouths in the corner. waise they don't care as long as the behenji leaves, but damn it how did she get such a hot piece as that to marry her?!!*

*pragya addresses rockstar again - "well that's all darling, just wanted to show you the deed is done! now hubby and i are going to fiji, after which i will be moving to live with him in seattle! gonna be real busy rockstar, so just here to say goodbye and thanks for all the torture! it's been character building!"*

*pragya turns to leave, raghav has a proprietary arm around her waist*

*abhi snaps back to himself. "WHAT! NO! YOU CAN'T DO THIS CHASHMISH!*

*Everyone stares in shock*

*fox getting worried and billi getting scared*

*abhi pulls apart pragya and raghav and moves to punch the other man, but raghav is no suresh - he stops abhi's fist and holds him back, in one of those perfect tense dramatic moments where the combatants are evenly matched and equally hot..ahem...*

*abhi drops his hand and says roughly "you can't leave with my wife, bro. there's been a misunderstanding."*

*pragya scoffs "wife, what wife? our relation ended two days ago if you recall -"*

*abhi turns to her with wild desperation and disbelief in his eyes "no it didn't! that divorce petition was invalid! i didn't sign with my real name!*

*entire crowd says at once, WHAT?!!*

*rockstar falls to his knees in front of chashmish and takes hold of her hands. oh god when did she have time to have mehendi done?? there had better not be an S or an R hidden in there somewhere! augh! but he's getting distracted*

*abhi says - "chashmish! it was all a plan!! i was never gonna make you marry suresh and i was never gonna let you divorce me! i just wanted to -"*

*pragya pulls her hands away - "sorry rockstar, maybe you can explain this to me later? our flight to fiji is soon, we have to get to the airport."*

*abhi sputters - "what what you're not going on a honeymoon with him! no way no how don't you dare think that -*

*pragya pulls off her phool maala and other bridal trappings - "no babe it's not a honeymoon, just a long needed beach vacation! we'll talk when i get back ok!"*

*Everyone confused, has pragya become so shamelesss...??*

*abhi tries to grab chashmish again but she makes like a butterfly and flutters towards the door, meanwhile raghav has her back so abhi can't get his hands on her, what is this awful topsy turvy world he's stuck in all of a sudden!*

*pragya calls out to her maa - "maa sorry i lied to you, it was part of the natak. i think you're stuck with the buddhu rockstar as your jamai after all but we'll see about all that later!! bye now!*

*Sarla nods and BB yells out "bye di have fun!" and suresh adds "raghav take care of her!"*

*fox is contemplating the merits of moving to sweden and pretending like she's never heard of anyone named mehra; billi cannot process what is happening - behenji is about to go on a tropical vacation with a hot guy she didn't actually marry, and meanwhile she's talking about coming back to abhi's life?!! billi's sad brain is melting!*

*abhi tries again to stop this madness, but pragya is hell bent on her beach vacation and she won't listen to any explanations or excuses until she's back. holy high heaven did she just tell raghav that she packed a bikini?! nooo what is happening*

*can abhi survive two weeks of wondering exactly how many benefits pragya's and raghav's friendship has? oh why oh why did he ever think this shaadi nautanki was a good idea! uff ho pakka from now on he is only going to let chashmish plan the nataks!! 😭*
