The reason I said the above was because my story might be going in the same direction...

Of all muses this is always my fav "if only and what could have been" and love how you've used it to describe the feeling she gets.

The teasing about her lengha and her not wearing glasses is too cute! reminds me of how they say boys always tease girls they like. You've also given Tanu the typical dumb blonde(excuse the generalization but you know what I mean) characterisitics.

Love how he looks smart and geeky after 3 years(I can picture it and in my head its HOT) with that slight hint of vanity and unexpected class(feminist approach to law...very nice...sounds like a class that should have all girls...hmmm maybe that why he took it..lol) and how pragya is bold enough to think about liking a guy.

The engagement and almost marriage(which didn't happen, thank god!!) and that placement of the second hug before he disappears..I felt like shouting at her through my laptop(don't know what I would have achieved but..)that don't let him go. And why why why did he ask her those questions about if she was happy with her engagement. It felt like there was a subtle undercurrent of something unsaid(imagination?!)

that third hug was just too cute and I loved how it was more of a comfort hug more than anything else and that she genuinely cared about his dadi even though they hadn't met for years.

Enough said I dont even know where to start with this one. I just love it. Every word was perfectly placed and the feels they gave. And the test at the end where he also felt the hug..my heart melted and I everything was right in my Abhigya world!

and yeah it wasn't your imagination...there was an undercurrent...imagine abhi's surprise that she's "spoken for" and then his confusion at feeling disappointment and then quickly overcoming all of that a fervent desire to accept her happiness, as long as she is happy...that's what i was going for

and LOL taking the class because it's all girls! not what i was thinking but MUCH more true to form for abhi!! i like it 😆

Loved the minimal involvement of Tanu in their lives here...😆😃

Even though it was Americanized, but even then Sarla Maa couldn't help being her true self...😆😆

That was a nice story
I don't not ally like stories without dialogues but I liked this one. You described them so well plus love the character changes you gave abhi mainly. Pragya is her sweet self but not as naive thank goodness.
