We forget that Purab initially agreed to marry Aaliyah and Abhi was not holding a gun at him.

And later, Abhi came to his house to again ask him... rather than attempting to make Abhi realize the truth, Purab agreed to marry Aaliyah again!

As far Abhi and his violent behaviour goes, Abhi was there at the hospital doing what he could for Sarla despite all the hate and violence whereas Purab even after knowing Sarla had the attack did not even visit her yet.

Purab claims to truly love BB, wants to marry her, and does not have a responsibility to Sarla?
And Abhi had ended his relation with Pragya (she was gone from his house that day) the day Sarla had her attack and Abhi has only claimed to hate Pragya.
Anyways, my point was not to compare Abhi and Purab in this thread but to say Purab's hasty decisions have caused a lot of chaos and he needs to own them at some point. Abhi has his share of faults and I also hope he will own them too when it's his turn.
Comparing Abhi's faults don't make Purab's faults any better!

And no, I don't think he has a responsibility to Sarla. If anyone does, it's Abhi's aunt, uncle etc who should be at the hospital. As for Abhi, just because she was thrown out of the house, his relationship with P did not end. She is still legally married to him. Logically, his relationship with Pragya never started. She was never even allowed to sleep in the house! In my family, we only put dogs outside on the verandah.

I think if Purab had shown concern and responsibility for Sarla, he would have had a better chance to have BB by his side. He may now just lose out on BB. Suresh who helped being an outsider also did all he can. Abhi technically is the son in law but we all know the reality of it and he has already scored by doing the needful at an hour of need by keeping his hate aside.

Ughhh... agreed. Purab was under no MU like abhi, nor did he have an ailing mother like sarla... yet he made blunders... he didnt speak to anybody nor take the correct path 🤢

They could have Abhi Pragya marry with a contract sort of them between the two of them for a year or so just to please their elders. Then they could have this issue over your sister-my sister- who gets Purab thing between them... and a 100 other things.. They could still show this hate-love relationship between them.
