Abhi, the idiotic character, seriously does not realize that, oh snap we took revenge on the wrong girl and I have been torturing her. He thats she betrayed him when in reality HE betrayed her. I mean how can he have the right to be pisseD? That Pragya knew the truth, tried to prevent Purab from leaving Aaliyah and then still take on his torture? Then Pragya, she needs to stop being mahan and actually tell him that he is a double standard as he is having an affair! I mean does that not get through abhi and pragya;s thick heads?
Does anyone here agree with me?

ouh thank you and you know wht the sad part is? everyone here was so confident that Abhi would feel like crap after destrying an innocent girl's life. So what if Pragya knew the truth and didn't tell him did he try to find out why she never told him anything I mean does this guy ever use the litlle brain he was blessed with for having I swear he's better off living as a rock. Did it ever occur to him what would happen if his Daadi found out about his and Tannu's affair what would happen to her? yet he never even tried to stop it he just continued having fun with Tannu while Pragya was left to fend for him and herself. I aint saying Pragya is completely right Abhi did deserve to know the truth she shouldn't have had this misunderstanding circulating and destroying people's life but I do hope someone donates a brain to Abhi or he groes sum or something...he should start taking some gingo biloba it works I used it 😆 but c'mon man open your eyes

I second every word you have written. I posted this on the other thread and am pasting it here.

"I just finished watching the epi and felt the same. Abhi was beyond abusive and Pragya took it all meekly. Her stupid soliloquy to rue upon her fate did nothing to quell the disgust I felt for the character of Abhi who after knowing the entire truth and knowing full well his own conspiracy against his wife, still insisted upon calling himself a good man and tarring her with every crime imaginable. His stupid sister's hurt need not be deflected upon his innocent wife. To completely wipe out from memory his own machinations but blame Pragya for doing nothing wrong smacks of some sort of mental imbalance or a person lacking in all principle and character. Egotistic, sadistic, self aggrandizing, a foolishly abusive man is how Abhi came across to me today. Pragya needs a severe shaking for not having slapped the wits into this imbecile of a man.

"While totally irritated at Pragya's meek acquiescence, almost subservience, I also felt pity for women who find themselves in such impossible and pathetic relationships.

And if the CVs are trying to pass this behavior off as undying love and a fate from the gods and a match made in heaven, they need to rethink their definition of love and marriage. Truly, a disappointing episode."

thank you! isnt it amazing? even in abhi's monologues the dialogue writers r not giving him lines of at least a tinge of remorse for what he did to pragya...n then ofcourse how can a desi heroine continue to be what she was in the first epi...telling a groom on shaadi day her piece of mind...sarla was super unhealthy n prone for heart attacks then as well...so that reason just doesnt sit with me...anyways... but this is golden trp stuff so us viewers just have 2 deal with it...

After reading episode reactions, I was expecting to find the episode funny and to find Abhi amusing in his immature behavior. But having just watched, I am annoyed instead. He's a damn self-serving hypocrite. It's so hard to watch a character who has no self awareness or a working brain cell. And Pragya's silence and indulgence of his behavior is aggravating. The writers seriously need to fix this - the actors are the only reason I can (barely) tolerate it.

All are having double standard here. Sarla and Pragya is not different. I can't understand this Pragya who easily falls for somebody who does right things just for the sake of family. Y can't she once utter to abhi that original truth behind their marriage will shatter his dadi if he is bend on living truth now a days.

Pragya has to be Strong. That one slap to Tanu is not enough. After this she should be standing for herself and showing these people their right places. I hope we get to see such plot ahead

I totally concur with your opinion
Seriously! What are they trying to say here?? That Pragya is this epitome of lovely daughter, obedient daughter-in-law and dutiful wife who will put the happiness of the people who abuse her instead of her own dignity?? Please treat her character as a human at least and not that of a doormat.

I don't understand the addiction to this show. My sister shouts at Abhi through the tv set...and yet she watches it religiously without missing a single epi 😆

I watch it on off occasionally but find Pragya's character very frustrating and Abhi is like a brick wall. Nothing or no one can get through to him. And his antics are beyond my understanding.

I know this is only a work of fiction but the fact that this show is doing so well simply amazes me. Ekta Madam sure does have the midas touch...
