I agree completely!

Just want to add a few reasons although you might have covered them too.

1. Abhi gives her a lot of attention, even in the name of "torture" which is more teasing, like you said. He hangs out around her while he could be totally gone somewhere or stay indifferent.

2. Abhi observes little things about her. Something that any girl would love a guy to do.. For example, he asks her how she sleeps in the balcony while she claims she can't sleep in dark. He asks her why she sleeps with her chashma on. He observes what she wears, her books, her clothes/body (his chatri comment for her unflattering anarkalis and often he mentions she is so thin that she should eat more etc.).

3. Abhi loves his elders/folks and respects hers. A quality that's so common between them.

4. Abhi is honest about pretty much everything even though she is supposed to be his dushman. Even if he plots against her, a moment later he admits it. So yeah, that's also something she will like about him.

5. Abhi sets her free. When have we seen Pragya shout/argue with someone lightheartedly? Before the zipper scene, Pragya goes on a verbal fight with him over how he looks and she looks etc. He brings out the child/free spirit in her. He is so unassuming and free spirited with her and allows her to be the same. He lets her tease him, taunt him too like he does to her.

6. He cares for Pragya too in his own ways although he is to be hating her.

7. He flirts with her and he is hot.😉

8. For the above said reasons, she actually enjoys his company.

So that's a lot of things beyond just being married to him and falling in love with him just as a wife.

Their shameful marriage and all those issues are on one side, but they do have this mutual connection already.
