Very true Melz, the trio are similar in more than one way and their own choices are creating the circular effect, had one of the 3 tried to break the triangle of sacrifice things would have been a lot better and different !!, you have put it very aptly here -
a) Saying the wrong thing at the right time
b) Doing the right thing at the wrong time
this is where the logic/practicality, weighing the situations comes into picture.
All three are similar, there is a triangle of sacrifices here - Pragya for Bulbul, Bulbul for Pragya, Purab for bulul, all thinking from their own perspective and not on a broader perspective. Truth is harsh, truth cannot be hidden for long, if truth is meant to be out it will be, no matter what !! Atleast one should have cleared the air.
But in the process of emotional decisions they are overlooking the pros and cons of it, in the flow of emotions, they are ignoring the practicality and logic of the situation.
Pragya - wanted to protect Bulbul from Abhi's wrath and hence pretended herself to be Purab's love - Fair enough !! but, if Alia and Purab were married and the truth was out would Abhi react normally seeing his sister in a marriage where her husband never loved her ?? In the process of protecting Bulbul from Abhi, she was causing a ripple effect in three people's lives (Purab, Bb and Alia). On the other hand, if she hid BB-Purab rishta and got them married, things would have been better. But Pragya's choice of hiding the truth to save BB from is a sequential effect of BB sacrificing her love for purab, which itself has nullified Pragya's sacrifice.
Bulbul - Again she is sacrificing her love for her sister ?? But does she really TRUST that Abhi wouldn't leave her sister after Alia-Purab's marriage ? the entire, once Alia-:Purab are married my sister will be happy is illogical and a weak reason with lack of practicality, specially when she knows how Abhi married (tricked) her didi. In the process of sacrificing her love for Pragya she is pushing Purab into a very disruptive married life. With a huge amount of certainty that Abhi will throw Pragya out of his life and Purab to lead a very unhappy life - the sacrifice is again void !!
Purab - He had many a chances to talk to or confront Abhi, it's not that Purab-Abhi are boss and employee,. they are friends more like brothers, I wish they behaved more like friends, here Abhi was dominating and Purab submissive .. looked more like boss-employee. He never took a chance to talk to Abhi. Whatever he did in the last minute to run away is more to create drama from the show's perspective and I feel things could have been handled better by Purab !!
Sometimes we hide truth so that our loved one's are not hurt. but what is the use of the sacrifice which has yields nothing fruitful. Sacrifice is NOT always the way out, there is the other side of the coin called communication and confrontation, which neither of these three chose to pick.
The entire triangle of sacrifice theory is weakly written, when people decide to do something, they check for the best possible options, either to talk/communicate/confront/sacrifice so that most of the things are sorted !!
I, for once, am not able to justify any of the trio, either emotionally or logically .
