Where is the Sense? That may be the point.

Purab was not asked to marry Aaliyah by BB and Pragya on their own. It was his past relationship he conveniently forgot before getting into a relationship with Bulbul. So, although it is sad that he was set to marry a scary creature like Aaliyah and he did the right thing by avoiding it, running away from the wedding after varmala and then trying to get married to Bulbul was not sensible stuff to do at all. So, Pragya was only giving him some sense that what he did was not sensible. He had his chances to refuse to marry Aaliyah right from the time Abhi proposed that idea. But he kept on agreeing to other's wishes without putting his foot down and telling them, hey this is not what I want. Now when things got to his neck, he decided to flee. Pragya was just making him realize that. And marrying Bulbul all of a sudden while her mother does not even know about this love affair, any parents would be shocked by something like this. Again, the most irresponsible thing to do. I am glad Pragya stopped him from marrying Bulbul at that moment.

Well put, Tia. And a very sensible post, pun intended cos of the sense and sensibility track or lack thereof. Pragya was right in stopping Purab from marrying Bulbul with such undue haste. And she was also right in chastising him for running out after the varamala. But to give the guy his due, he was all set to marry Aliya until he overheard her nasty conversation with Tannu. Who would want to marry a creature like that even if it was rubbed in at the last moment that she is an awful person?

Purab is justified in his running off, Pragya is justified in scolding him, Bulbul is not right in expecting him to marry Aliya. Purab is a fool for having agreed in the first place. Pragya is dumb if she thinks buying time is going to make it any better for silly Sarla. Abhi cannot think for himself but that has always been his problem from the start. Aliya is obsessed and obsessive and is evil to boot. Tannu appeared like a brainless vamp but has suddenly grown some brains, even of the wrong kind. Daadi is daadi, believes in her instincts, Sarla is Sarla, over dramatic, overly anxious, overly influencing her daughters with her too frequent fainting spells :(

I am loving the crazy ride so far, let's see what tomorrow brings. Disclosure of truth or MU brushed under the carpet as silly Sarla takes center stage.
