Pragya was lying on the ground unconscious. Time came to a standstill. Abhi and the others were in shock. In a spur of the moment action, Abhi rushed over to Pragya, picked her up and told the others to clear the way. He drove to City Hospital, followed by the entourage of close family. He got her admitted fast and was waiting outside of the ICU when he was approached by Tanu.

"Abhi! Are you out of your mind? Why did you save that behenji? After all of the trouble she puts you into! Did you forget her rude words towards me? She called me your mistress!" Tanu spoke loudly in the hospital.

"Tanu!" Abhi blasted " She saved my sister selflessly. I don't know what else I could do to repay her!" Tanu left the hospital angrily.

Soon after this confrontation, Dadi, her cousins, Aaliya and Pragya's family arrived at the hospital.

The doctor came out of the ICU and was approached by Abhi and his family. "The patient has gone into a coma due to CO poisoning. Mrs. Mehra is in critical condition and will have to remain hospitalized until she gets out of the coma." the doctor explained.

Abhi was shocked. Dadi and the others broke down into tears. However, Abhi, he was just shocked. The doctor's words just raced through his mind over and over again.
