(Part 1 was the prologue. Chapter 1 was the actual start.)

Chapter 2:

Aditi just couldn't hold her tears seeing Arjun and Pragya. She wanted to hug her and tell her that she was her daughter and that she loved her. As Pragya walked in the Aditi could feel her eyes water.

"Excuse me." Aditi said quickly getting up and running towards the roof.

"Let me see." Pragya said as she ran after her. Arjun couldn't be more happy. Pragya reached the roof to find Aditi sitting on the floor near the water tank. She kept wiping her tears. "Are you okay?"

Aditi just couldn't control herself and she hugged Pragya. Pragya consoled her by patting her back.

"It's just I never had a mother and seeing you and Arjun brought the emptiness back."

"I'm sure your Dad has always been there for you." Pragya told her.

"He has. He's been great. He became my Dad, my Mom, my Best friend but sometimes you just need a mom." Pragya cried.

"I'll be your mom." Pragya said wiping her tears. Something about Aditi reminded her of Abhi. She wore the same Rockstar-ish style clothes and that nose. She knew it this was Abhi's nose. To add up, she felt a strange attraction towards. Like her heart was screaming her and telling her something but her mind wasn't comprehending what.

"Thank you." Aditi replied wiping the remaining tears.

"So seems like you like to sing." Pragya asked just to be sure that maybe she sings that's why she's like Abhi.

"Yes." Aditi replide smiling. "A Rockstar as my Dad says." Something nudged Pragya in the heart. Abhi she thought calling their child a rockstar she thought only Abhi would be the one to do it but there were clearly some other people as well.

"Come." Pragya said. "We've got to get some food in you. You're so skinny."

"Surprisingly, that's the same thing my Bari Daadi says." Aditi laughed.

"Clearly your Bari Daadi is smart." Pragya smiled.

"She certainly is. She's been my mother figure all this time." Aditi smiled.

"Bari Daadi?" Pragya asked.

"Actually, she's the Daadi of my Dad." Aditi explained. "I don't really have a Daadi." Pragya smiled. Her Bari Daadi reminded her of Abhi's Daadi but she stayed quiet.

"So you nervous?" Aditi said as she and Arjun got out of his car. Arjun was surprisingly extremely cool, despite him being a book worm. He didn't look like a rock star but if he would tell people that he was the son of one, it wouldn't be hard to believe.

"I guess so." Arjun said. "Is your Dad okay with you bringing guys to your house?"

"Never happened before but I guess after he would realize I think of you as a brother." Aditi told him. "He wouldn't mind."

"Are you sure I can come at this time?" Arjun asked. "It's almost dinner time."

"Don't worry. Once Bari Daadi will know who you are, you might have to convince her not to let you stay overnight." Aditi laughed.

"Aditi." Abhi said as he saw her coming inside the house. He walked up to her and hugged her. Wow, Arjun thought, who would have thought the Rock star was such a softy.

"Dad, this is Arjun." Aditi said pointing at Arjun. Arjun moved his hand to shake and Abhi took it and shook it.

"Boyfriend?" Abhi asked.

"What?" Aditi asked. "No! He's like a brother and Dad don't I already have one?"

"You sure?" Abhi said looking at him.

"Yes. Aditi is like a little sister." Arjun said.

"Hmmm." Abhi said.

"Dad! Are you forgetting Jay?" Aditi said raising his eyebrows.

"I'm kidding Aditi." Abhi smiled. "Arjun's a fine gentle man." Every inch of Abhi's body was screaming Pragya looking at Arjun, but he just shrugged off the feeling but if he gave it the thought. He did seem simple but not that simple. He did seem intelligent.

"You like to read?" Abhi asked to make sure just because he reads books that's why he reminds him of Pragya.

"Yes." Arjun replied. "As my mom calls me a Bookworm." Abhi stared at him. She was damn sure only Pragya could do that but there were clearly other people.

"I'm going to meet Bari Daadi." Aditi said pulling Arjun along.

"Arjun?" Daadi asked before Aditi could even say a word. "This is our Arjun." Aditi just nodded. Arjun quickly went and hugged her. Daadi cried looking at him.

"It's me Bari Daadi." Arjun told her. Aditi explained how they met and how she already my Pragya.

"Okay now Beta." Daadi said. "You have to fulfill my wish. You two must get your parents together."

"I was thinking the same." Aditi said. "It would be great."

"What would be great?" Abhi said coming inside.

"If Arjun stayed for dinner." Daadi told him. "It's almost dinner time. Jay is coming right?"

"Yes." Aditi replied.

"Arjun and Jay can be good friends." Daadi said hinting that Jay would help them in this plan. Aditi and Arjun seemed to catch it.

"Just a fun question." Abhi said. "You sing?"

"Yes." Arjun replied. "Second favourite thing after reading."

"I like this kid." Abhi said pulling him into a hug. A sudden electric current passed through Abhi. Arjun felt like his but he shrugged off the feeling.

"I like him too." Daadi said.

"You're always welcome in this house."Abhi said releasing him from a hug. Arjun reminded him of his own son Arjun. He just wished he could at least see him once. His heart longed to hug him. Arjun reminded him of his own son, thus Abhi had welcomed him into this house.

Abhi found Arjun in the balcony. Arjun was too overwhelmed seeing his Dad. He wanted to tell him that I am your son but he knew he couldn't. His heart had always wanted a Dad with whom he could talk about games, with whom he could play sports, with whom he could sing.

"You okay?" Abhi said coming standing near him.

"It's just I never had a father and seeing you and Aditi was a bit too over whelming." Arjun explained.

"It's okay champ." Abhi said patting his back. "You have a mother right?"

"Yes." Arjun smiled. "She became my mother and father but a kid always needs his Dad."

"My parents died when I was young." Abhi said. "I know how you feel but you should be grateful you have such a loving mom."

"Never for once I have been less grateful. I believe God did a huge favor on me by not taking my mom away from me." Arjun replied. His strong faith in God, reminded Abhi of Pragya. Abhi smiled patted his back and left Arjun so he could have some privacy.

You are just so very good ...!!! Every time I read one of your stories, I think it can't be "bested," .. and then you write another one and.. surprise ... it's even better!!! I am just enjoying your writing!!!

Loved the update

So Abhi n Pragya both feeling a strange pull towards the other child that they did not get to raise;

Love tha interactions between them

Daadi can tell them about the stuff n times when Abhigya were together and maybe the kids can reenact or do something to bring the parents together

Now I wanna see these two kids plan n plot to get their parents back

I would love to see them sit their parents down together and say "look here now we have had enough of your childish behavior now kiss n make up we want to live with both our parents we want to be children of a family n not of broken home" Arjun giving a stern look like Pragya and Aditi making a face like Abhi

Then both Abhigya end up laughing and say get out of our room we do not kiss in front of kids

Haan re even I want pm

I would surely consider this. This would be a nice twist and I like the part of reenact the moments. Thanks for the advice.

Chapter 3:

Arjun and Aditi were sitting by the main gate. Both of them were discussing some notes from literature class. Both of them were so into their work that they failed to notice that Abhi was coming from the left while Pragya was coming from the right. Surprisingly, both of them had decided to pick their child up from college.

"Abhi?" Pragya said in disbelief.

"Pragya?" Abhi said.

Aditi and Arjun finally looked but nearly fainted seeing their parents this face to face. Shit both of them thought. Abhi and Pragya both looked at their kids and then at each other and before Aditi or Arjun could say anything. Pragya tightly hugged Aditi and Abhi hugged Arjun.

"How could you not tell me?" Pragya demanded. "You're my Aditi. All this time, I was with my daughter and I didn't even know? Han? Why didn't you tell me?"

"Arjun?" Abhi said smiling. "I knew it. I knew I felt something weird with you. You're my son, my champ. How.. why would you not tell me? I had been longing for my son for so long that I didn't even realize it was you when you were there right in front of me."

"So, this means we get to live as a family?" Aditi asked. Abhi and Pragya both looked at each other and then at Aditi. None of them said a single word.

"We're not sure about that." Pragya said.

"It's been eighteen years." Abhi said. "I don't think.."

"What do you mean you don't think?" Arjun said. "I want my mom and dad at the same time. I want to be able to live with my sister without having to hide the fact that she's my sister."

"Yes." Aditi said. "We're twins. Twins have to be kept together not separated for eighteen years."

"Can we at least discuss this?" Abhi asked. Aditi and Arjun stood there. "Alone?" Both of them nodded and went to the other side.

"I think we should." Abhi told Pragya. "It's best for them. Aditi is right we did keep them far enough. It would be better for them, especially at this stage that they have a complete family."

"I don't mind either." Pragya said. "I know how much they love each other. I think it's best for them too. They would get to have a family they deserved. A family they wanted for years."

"Not to mention a parent they'd lost." Abhi said. Pragya nodded in agreement. They gestured Aditi and Arjun to come back.

"So?" Aditi asked.

"We're okay with it." Abhi said.

"We're fine with the idea. It's the best for you two." Pragya said.

"So that means you have to get married again?" Aditi said.

"Yeah." Abhi said. "Not exactly."

"Huh, what?" Arjun asked.

"We never had a divorce. Just a separation." Pragya explained.

****

"Bari Daadi?" Aditi called. "Guess who came today to live in this house?"

"Who?" Daadi asked.

"Arjun and Mom." Aditi smiled. "They're on there way up."

"Really?" Daadi asked. "Pragya is back?''

"Yes." Aditi smiled. "It's a compromise from their side. They're doing this for us but we'll make sure, that changes."

"Good, good." Daadi smiled.

"Daadi?" Pragya said as she hugged her. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too!" Daadi said and then she looked at their servant. "Robin? Make sure all the stuff of Pragya is shifted to Abhi's room."

"It's okay... I can have the other room." Pragya said.

"What do you mean the other room?" Daadi said. "You two are still married. You two will stay in one room. End of discussion."

"I totally agree with Bari Daadi." Arjun said. "You're married. Married couples don't sleep in different rooms."

"True that." Aditi said.

****

"Missed me?" Jay said coming into Aditi's room.

"A bit too much over confidence, no?" Aditi said as she hugged him.

"Hey man!" Jay said as he gave a high five to Arjun.

"Dude." Arjun replied.

"Let me guess, making plans to bring your parents together." Jay told them.

"Aa Haan." Aditi said. "Join us."

"So what's the plan." Jay asked.

"Well, we asked Daadi for some moments that Mom and Dad shared." Arjun explained. "We will make them relive through them and maybe add a few new ones."

"Sounds cool." Jay said. "Don't get angry. Aren't they a bit too... you know.. old?" Aditi smacked

him behind the head.

"Idiot." She said. "They look younger than they already are."

"Really?" Jay asked. "Vampires?"

"Maybe." Arjun said. "Maybe we're vampire too."

"And we just trapped you so we could drink your blood." Aditi suggested.

"Aditi you're scary and Arjun you're just freaky." Jay said and all of them laughed together.

Pragya was setting her clothes. Abhi was sitting on the bed staring at her. He felt a weird comfort seeing her again. His room felt lively again and her scent. Good it was back. Reminded him of the many memories they had shared. Abhi realized how much he had missed his Chashmish

Pragya on the other hands was a bit shocked at herself. She felt no nervousness, nothing at all. She felt happy. She felt warmth that she had not felt in the past eighteen years. Only now she realized how much she had missed Abhi.

Pragya turned around to find Abhi staring at her. Pragya stared at him and both of the shared an eye lock. The kept staring at each other.

"Oh sorry." Aditi said coming inside. "You guys continue the eye lock."

"You wanted to say something." Abhi said as he cleared his throat.

"Yes, yes I did." Aditi said. "I wanted a party."

"Party?" Pragya asked. "For what?"

"You and Arjun came back after eighteen years, the least you deserve is a party." Aditi smiled.

"No there is no need." Abhi said.

"Bari Daadi agrees." Aditi said. "If you want you can talk to Bari Daadi about it. This would make her happy."

"If this makes Daadi happy then we have no problem." Pragya said. Abhi liked it how she said 'we' instead of 'I'.

"Okay then." Abhi said. "We have a party."

(short one. The next one would have the their moments again)

Thanks for the suggestion of the slow dance. That would be nice. I would surely make Arjun and Aditi sing it.
