Let's put aside the MU...I never understood why they always have fictional characters so blind to the truth for the longest time period and along the way make the audience pull their hair out or finally deciding to grab the vase to smash the screen.đ
But Abhi is one refreshing, breath of cool breeze with his own uniqueness in capturing our attention. Rarely you get such shameless, one-liner speaking Rockstar and adding to that his so cutely misguided conscious.
Though there are moments when he shoots straight from the mouth where his brains should have been, one would want to smack the back of his head. Still you can't stay annoyed long as he starts spouting those side splitting liners, sometimes at total randomness, throwing you off course; coupled with over the top expressions and gestures. YOU know you got yourself the top contender for DRAMA KING of the year...
Abhi's words might be misguided and demeaning towards Pragya. But whatever actions that follows afterwards are total polar opposites!! Twisted in its own sense. We get to see through his absurdity and farce that Pragya had to put up with.
First, after saying don't expect a sorry from him for hurting her, barely few seconds later, he offers sorry and a heartfelt one while being at it.
Then he drops her off the hotel room and taunts her by saying he doesn't care what she does, while his will be on honeymoon with his dearest Tannu. Having said it, we catch him curiously hovering over a sleeping Pragya, listening to her songs. He does care whether he agrees to it, is another day's argument.
Followed by Abhi's confident declaration 'I don't feel anything towards you'. Only to find out his affected by her; the hug and those hypnotic eyes. His naughty hug from the back in the dressing room, proving he has never been so wrong in his life. And he realizes them and fears those emotions Pragya evokes unknowingly to her in him. Not so tough after all.
Abhi is blinded by his own denial of Pragya's truth. His running away from his destiny, only to come closer to it.
Its endearing and funny to watch fate twist his words, while paving Abhi's paths to intertwine with Pragya's and pissing him off at the sametime.
