(This just a oneshot. You guys have made me make one shots into short stories. Quite persuasive, aren't you guys? I cannot make this into a short story, unless you expect me do this with the whole show, that would tiring and would eventually turn boring.I hope you enjoy and please ignore my mistakes.
This is my take on the fight scene between Abhi and Pragya.)
"Mein woh larki nahi hun jo Purab se pyar karti hai." Pragya yelled. (Translation: I am not that girl
who Purab loves.)
Abhi and Pragya stared at each other trying to comprehend what the other had said. Before Abhi
could say anything, Pragya spoke. "I lied. I don't even know Purab that well, let alone love him."
"What?" Abhi asked confused. "Why would you lie?"
"You tell what should I have done?" Pragya asked him. "Should I have told you that Bulbul was
the one who loved Purab, so you could destroy her life? Or should I have told you the truth so you
could have broken off the marriage, that would have caused my mother to fall ill? You tell me
what I should have done?"
Abhi just stared at her in horror. Pragya wasn't even at fault, yet she was endure all the
punishment for the sake of her family. Abhi's head was spinning and he had no idea what to do.
"Please." Pragya begged. 'Don't do anything to Bulbul. She's the one who convinced Purab to
Aaliyah. She has already suffered enough and now if you want to save your sister from suffering
stop this marriage."
Abhi tried to leave the room. No matter if Pragya wasn't at fault, this doesn't mean he would take
the love of his sister away from her. Pragya stopped him.
"She won't be happy.Purab doesn't love her and believe me, the worst thing you can do to a girl is
let her marry who doesn't love her. You don't want her to feel the way I-" Pragya stopped. "I
mean... Aaliyah can always find a who is worthy enough for her. Who would actually love her not
marry her because that would solve the problems... in others lives."
Abhi just stared at her. Despite all they had done to her, Pragya was still thinking about Aaliyah
and her feelings. He didn't know what to do or what to say to anyone, Abhi shrugged and left the
room, not wanting to face the girl whom life he had destroyed based on a mere
misunderstanding. She could have had a loving family to live in, a husband who would actually
respect but he had destroyed all of her dreams in blind rage. Abhi felt really guilty. No matter how
much he wanted to deny this, Pragya was telling the truth. He
had to find a solution to all of this mess he and Aaliyah had created.
(Just a short one on the retake of that scene. I hope you liked it.)
