I agree Pragya is not self pitying and can live beyond her emotions, and locked the pieces of her broken heart somewhere in an abyss but that place would be a wreck.

That's how I see her. From her broken marriages, especially her unhappy ending with Suresh, and now her disastrous marriage, life never offered her good. She is not gonna complain about or beg life for happiness, but only she knows what it is to be in her situation.

I said Abhi is enjoying, because as of now, when he is torturing Pragya he is actually teasing her (and he knows it) and he likes doing that. I am saying this because he goes overboard playing around with her, like de-robing himself, going all goofy in the jacuzzi etc. So in that sense he is not really tortured by being with her as he states. He does not need to interact with her that much and stay aloof to her, but he just likes playing pranks of sorts with her. Today, for example, he had to do all the drink drama, get her eat chilli powder, invite her to dance again and all that. If he is tortured by her, why find instances to be with her again and again?

I don't think he cares a lot about not being able to be with Tannu because even in the past, when it came to Daadi, he ignored her. And even with all the annoyances he is having because of Pragya, he still gets his nice coffee from her, hot water/jal jeera when he is sick.. so he has his little gains!

Yes, he is hyper emotional and when things will become serious for him, he will suffer because he will madly love her and hate her at the same time. That would be the time he will actually suffer what will look like a life long punishment for him.

But his unbearable suffering will come when he figures out it was not Pragya who was involved with Purab, that his sister is evil and that Purab never loved Aaliyah.

However, right now, in his brain he thinks he will get rid of Pragya very soon. He just wants to get over with PuLiya engagement/marriage. He still thinks he has the upper hand. And he has already completed his mission of bringing Purab back to Aaliyah.

But Pragya is living a lie. Like what they showed in today's scene, she is afraid the truth can break to her mom any time and she will be accused of all sorts of stuff and she may not even be able to defend herself by telling the actual truth. She doesn't want to tell her mom about RaBul and make her feel bad about Bulbul being unhappy as well. Her biggest fear is her divorce from Abhi as it can kill her mom. Life will be easier for her if the truth is out since she can walk away from this marriage as well as live a free life, but right now not only she has to live with a taunting husband and scheming sister in law (which is bearable may be) but also has to live with the constant awe that her marriage can break any time harming her mom. She does not even want her mom to see Abhi drunk and feel bad about it but how threatened she would be about the thought that her mom may know the truth that Abhi and her are not happy! So, the stakes are high for Pragya at this stage. She would be equally sad too about not being able to help her sister and that her sister has lost her love.

She might have her hopes on Daadi and Abhi's respect for Daadi but she also knows now that she is being actively targeted too in order to get her out of Mehra house.

So, that's a lot of burden to live with.

And then, are her own emotions-

Yeah Pragya stated she is closed her heart to love, doesn't mean she is in peace with her life. She was also a girl with dreams when she fell into the water from the bridge right into Abhi's arms. Didn't she for a minute get mesmerized by his words? So, Yeah Pragya with all her armoured heart still has emotions inside and craves love. She often thinks about the times she talked to Bulbul about how she wants loving husband and a happy family. Her dreams are shattered. She might have accepted her fate- doesn't mean she is oblivious to the pain life has brought her.

So, Pragya saying she has closed her heart to love may not mean the ultimatum. Just like Abhi who doesn't believe in love is already finding something in Pragya, she will also be searching for her little dreams to come true somewhere. I just hope that she finds them in Abhi. That would be her hope.

A lot of our discussions here Zephyr tell me that I am into the idea of Pragya falling in love with Abhi in the current situation with MU and with her current state of mind and you probably are not. That's why we start explaining to each other, perhaps!

actually i wouldnt be able to tell you exactly, who is suffering more or less. I see both are suffering equally. Abhi says that he is in a tight spot for now, he wishes all sorts of bad things happen to pragya, gives her dire threats, while pragya also isnt intimidated at all, its only when daadi or her mom come into the pic, does she panic. Yeah, he gets more to tease and take revenge, and insult, but when the person whom you are bullying isnt visibly affected, it doesnt serve its purpose. 🤔

god knows tia. 😔 this ekta na... Loves unending melodrama and hungama. Part of why purab runs away cowardly and its subsequent aftereffects are what she.. ie ekta thrives on. Anybody would have started having an iota of doubt after that entire clutch exchange drama about the real intentions of pragya, she was more intetested in nok jhoks with him than mourning over her supposed 'love' purab getting engaged to someone else.. But no. Abhi has been conviniently shown to have a blind eye to all this. I think this is all building up to the great showdown.

ah.. 🤔 again, its tough to say how much pragya is suffering. Usually she brushes off abhi's threats, insults as childish, immature plus like we saw her with tannu, she doesnt give wealth, status, looks any importance at all. If someone insults you in an area, you dont have any interest in, its useless to insult at all. Those instances, the night of marriage, seeing your hubby with someone else, getting falsely implicated in a drug case and being questioned lamelessly, any girl would cry and be upset. 😳 of course, there will be frustration, no doubt, but pragya isnt the one to keep grudges for a lifetime.

she lives for others. She cares about her mom, sister and family and her abhi's daadi, more than herself. And for them, she is willing to put up with her ass of a husband who keeps having shennanigans with the mistress. I dont know what the cvs intend by showing taabhi together, serves no purpose. 🤔 she had an unhappy ending with suresh, but she has put that in the past now and has moved on, not looking for love at all. More than love, she wants to find a practical husband. Thats why she said yes to that chap in the very first epi... She didnt fall for him, yet saw that he was practical and agreed. Only later did she stumble upon the fact that he wanted her family marriage hall and back off.

Ugh this Taabhi ! Like taanu keeps saying im leaving and blah blah and keeps coming back well she aint not saint so
