I think that since suresh had earlier heard from pragya... that she and abhi dont get along well... this thought clashed with their close hug. Suresh was perplexed how pragya says one thing and does something opposite. Hence his stares..

My dream scenario...

Purab-Aaliyah wedding is fixed, but still there doesn't seem to be any decrease in the daily torture Pragya has to suffer. Things reach such a stage that Pragya's had enough. She orchestrates Rabul elopement. By now Suresh has understood just how much Rabul love each other and decides to sacrifice his love (considering how guilty he feels about Pragya so he thinks it's the least he can do for her, plus his is just a one-sided love). Anyways during the wedding instead of Purab it'll be Suresh as the dulha. And only after the wedding they see what has really happened and there the whole truth is revealed in front of all and the world comes crashing down around Abhi. Sigh if only it were to happen like this...

And yes more than Purab-Aaliyah, I'd support Suresh-Aaliyah marriage coz at this point if anyone can tame the shrew that she is it's Suresh. And she is sorely in need of major life lessons. Plus it'll be a huge slap to the siblings since they cheated a girl into marriage because of no fault of hers so they get their comeuppance this way, maybe even with Daadi supporting this wedding.

Your scenario may not be feasible, Zephyr, because that would mean Abhi will end the marriage with Pragya of course with a lot of apologies. Do we really want him to later pursue the girl he wronged because he feels shit about what he did?

I don't know about the fate of Purab. I wish he just goes away somewhere or some coma happens to him so that his marriage to Aaliyah gets delayed.

Meanwhile, Abhi can figure out the real Pragya and fall in love with her. Pragya should fall in love with him too equally. But they don't tell each other for obvious reasons. Finally truth can be out and Abhi Pragya can happen!

I'd rather she walks out on him at that point, since truth is all out there won't be anymore reason to stick to the farce anymore. And then after the separation Abhi-Pragya get to rediscover each other again properly. Since they are meant to be anyways they are bound to meet again.

Once Abhi falls in love with Pragya, I don't mind her walking out on him. That's better actually. But if the truth comes out any soon, this won't happen. He can't be in love with her in near future.

Again, Pragya should fall in love too. She should not get back with him just because he is begging or because after all he is her husband. She should find 'happy love' in him.

No counting on Purab to solve anything.

Suresh's investigations have only started. It would be ages before he brings the truth to Abhi. First he has to realize the context of this marriage and then work on solving the MU. So, it will be a long way to Abhi knowing the truth. Ample time for falling in love!

Well of course even that scenario I posted would take time to happen when everyone has realized their position and don't have any better options only then.

But I have been thinking just how Abhi's fall from money / fame will happen. Doesn't look to be only financial as being a famous and in-demand singer he can always reclaim the money back in no time. So it has to be something that causes a huge dent to his reputation. And what better way other than the real truth of his marriage being made public knowledge. The resulting scandal would be a massive blow to this image of a rockstar singing songs of love and would be enough for contracts to be cancelled or withdrawn. This will also make Tannu distance herself from him when she realizes it'll hurt her career too, otherwise I don't see her leaving him just over monetary issues; she's already a highly paid supermodel herself. So only thing that'll keep her away would be scandal. That'll be when he finds himself truly alone.

A scandal like that will affect not just him but Pragya's family badly. If they are spared now they will be spared later too. I don't know if that would happen. May be all his albums will flop from now on and he will lose money too because of Purab out of his business. Tannu will walk away and Pragya will stand by him, like in the novel. Pragya will be Abhi's support in his comeback.
