Pragya is in shock right now and is taking stock of the situation. As Mina and Tia have already said, she did refuse the dance, she did try to walk away, she even ground her teeth at him in one scene, looked daggers at him several times, and snatched her hand away. After Purab left she did not look at Abhi with any subservient sati savitri look. It was a measured "do what you want" look.

Pragya is a well behaved, well brought up girl, she definitely does not want to make a scene in public. Also, she is still reeling from the shock, it went from fairy tale marriage to a nightmare in less than a day. Give her time to get back on her feet, she will sock it to Abhi as good as she gets and he won't know what hit him.

One thing that irked me was dumb Aliya complaining that Pragya was talking to Purab on the phone even after being married. Double standards here? Her brother spent his wedding night at his girlfriend's and is about to perform a sizzling dance number with Tanu and here is Aliya acting like Pragya has committed the gravest of sins by talking to Purab.

I think Pragya just needs more time. Girls are socialized to be proper, to behave decently with elders and strangers and in-laws. Even an independent-minded girl has to play within the rules, or people will dismiss her as badtameez and ill-brought up.

Someone like Pragya earns respect by behaving with great respect to others as well as upholding her own self-respect. She cannot just immediately stand up to her brand new husband & sasural - she's still getting her head around who they are, what they believe about her,and what the stakes are for her. And a girl like Pragya will always think twice about creating a tamaasha in public when her family's feelings and reputation are involved - don't you think it would cause way more problems, awkwardness, conflict and confrontation if Pragya tried to walk off the stage? The last thing she wants is to show the world that she's in the middle of a big mess, since she hasn't figured out how to deal with it yet.

Pragya is still assessing the predators. Apparently everyone is impatient that she is behaving like floppy prey. I say, just wait and watch.

People with glasses should not be criticised.
At that stage they cannot see distant things but not blind to nearer things
It is inhuman to mock at spectACLES?
they are correcting their defect???nicer than those who hide it for their beauty
But now a days there are some glasses which enhance the beauty and they always reflects intelligence

i think u r being more than a little judgemental. P is less than 48hrs in that mansion and already she is supposed 2b talking back, creating scenes which will lead 2a lot of tension and unpleasantness @ her inlaws. her differences r with AA and no one else. she has 2 ensure she keeps the respect of the other family members, as well as her own.
