I havnt read S&S neither have I watched Ekta s shows as few of my friends on dis forum know...😊 But I do know don't outline of d story...😊

Marvelous analysis!

I too started watching the show curious to know how they would adapt Sense and Sensibility into a daily soap. I think the show has already adapted and changed certain aspects. And of course, they have introduced a host of additional characters, some good and others negative, in order to tailor it towards the targeted audience.

My two cents, I think that PUrab and Bulbul will be on the verge of getting married when Purab is forced to marry Abhi's sister and Suresh swoops in to marry Bulbul to save the day. However unlike the book I doubt the drama will end with just the sisters getting married. I am positive that post-weddings we will see more drama owing to the negative inlaws and couples antagonistic or indifferent towards each other falling in love. To be honest i think the slow burn and romantic angst is also a major draw towards these shows ( I know it is for me!).

I hope the creatives are able to keep true to the main points of the book while keeping the target audience in mind. :D

I too feel the same way, am not to fond of lovey dovey love stories, I feel certain bits of angst in a love story helps the audience to be more invested in what's in store for their favorite couple !! And if what you have predicted about Purab & BulBul, then we have a lot of angst in story for Abhigya, because if in any way Abhi is responsible for BulBul's unhappiness, then Pragya is going to hate him for a long time ! So lets see what happens, keeping fingers crossed ! :)

I agree a lot with what you said. Suresh-Pragya and Purab-Bulbul are no go as far as story is concerned. They are building both up just to break them. We have got so many hints that Pragya and Abhi are meant to be. We also know Suresh and BB are parallel leads. So, their story together is important. They wouldnt have introduced the angle about Suresh's one-sided love for BB if it didn't mean anything in the long term. They have also given us enough hits about Purab being loyal to Abhi. He wont break Abhi's trust especially when it comes to Aaliya, someone Abhi loves so dearly.

I know, lots here dont like Suresh and Bulbul angle. But, didnt Suriji win over Taniji's heart in the end.😉

Amazing analysis. Nice to know that you are a shabbir fan it will be great fun all shabz fan here. According to novel Abhigya n Bulbul Suresh will be a end game.

Thanks for commenting and appreciating my post ! Its quite sad that they are building up Purab & BulBul only to pair them up with someone else !! But that's what Ekta's shows are really about ! She never pairs up the couple the viewers want to see !! As for Abhigya, well they have shown to be paired up from the start, but I feel its going to take a while for them to even speak to each other decently, let alone fall in love ! But I don't mind waiting !! 😳

As much as i hate it..this is what is going to happn..bt i still have hopes for RaBul bcoz its an ekta shw nd she never follows anything blindly nd she add her own masala's :-D

Thanks ! Oh yes am a hard core Shabbir fan, love him so much !! And whats more, his chemistry with Sriti is pretty awesome ! After being a Milind-Prachi fan, I thought I might never get to see that sort of chemistr he shared with Panchi ever again, and its nice to know that yet again we get to see him sizzle with another fine actress like Sriti ! :)

Yes, that is very true, you cane never really predict what can happen in an Ekta show, so lets keep our fingers crossed !!

Ya. I am also Michi fan n agreed abhigya have a rocking chemistry. He will again rock the show with Sriti. Want their track to start. Love Abhigya.
