It's an interesting question - BB's engagement is complete so presumably her wedding is near. So there could be drama soon...hard to tell.

Just had an awful thought...I DON'T want to see this track but it's a possibility...what if a few months down the line...BB becomes a tragic widow? And she and Suresh make some kind of compromise or pity marriage after that.

That would be unbearably sad for so many reasons. KKB likely won't go that route.

Frankly I think KKB doesn't really care who BB is with - they're still only using her in service to the main love story.

But we'll see what we'll see...

And that's true as well, they don't really care about who BB is. I remember you saying something like this once: The CVs mostly care about Abhigya, everything else is an afterthought.

I would like the CVs to explore a slow platonic relationship at first between SuBul if my first thought (beautifully outlined by Trishh, ty Trishh!) is not happening.

I don't see the CVs getting BB married so quickly, to me her wedding would happen much later, towards the end of the show. I mean how are they going to keep the show going over 4-5 years- having two women Taaliyah plotting and planning about two men and their wives? It seems unlikely. Unless Abhigya issues are resolved by then where BB can breathe easy.

It would be nice for the CVs to explore the possibility of a SuBul first w./o the marriage issue hanging over her.

Dee - will a platonic relationship post marriage satisfy you? Not that it will be purely platonic - but you know, hesitations, friendship, trust and then maybe kintu parantu, slow build up of attraction.

Yes if the marriage is sudden, I think platonic first, but it reminds me too much of Abhigya- a role reversal of sorts. A maariage due to sudden pressure/circumstance. I can't imagine the CVs would do this to both couples on the show.

The Indian audience views marriage with finality which I don't quite agree with but respect. The only way for SuBul to have a real chance with the audience is to test the waters first, have them get to know each other and see how it plays out. Right now the chemistry is awkward.

deedee i don't understand why they wouldn't use the same track for both couples. that is the standard track - marriage of opposites made under a misunderstanding, very slow road to appreciation and then attachment and then love, and meanwhile all kinds of crazy witch obstacles thrown into make things harder.

subul is a gender flipped abhigya...and without the rockstar glam. i see it going down the same road. if the cvs ever decide they actually need to tell bb's story.

@tia i guess the show hasn't said and it's always possible they'll bring it in later for drama but i cannot imagine suresh with a previous wife...i think he had other priorities, putting his family first and not getting to have a personal life or even getting married "on time" (...i might be basing this on the RL story of one of my cousins XD) - and then BB came into his orbit, or more accurately he came into hers, and he fell for her and it was a new thing to him and he never knew how to handle it. and probably renu's right, the basis of falling for her must have been superficial. but maybe, depending on how long it's been, maybe he started to have protective feelings for her, a more emotional attachment - and that's why he never put himself forward, because he didn't want to impose himself on her. maybe he thought that someday the moment would be right - and that's why he was so bowled over when he found out about bulbul's relationship with her fiance - there was a scene with him on his motorbike...i don't remember the details but he was a sad sad puppy!!

Army is my family's official business. So many uncles, dad, cousins have chosen army as their career. And I can't relate to Suresh that way. But will look forward to your version.

Isn't col Brandon supposed to have lost his family? Suresh has his family intact, hmm, in the soap.
