It had been a week since her break-up with purab. She ditched him because he was already committed to someone else. He made all kinds of promises to her but the promises were made, not only to her, but also to someone else. All this while she had trusted him. She had given herself to him. She had let him show her dreams of a bright future with him.

Did you find it hard to breathe?

Did you cry so much that you could barely see?

In the darkness all alone

It had only become worse when the truth of her sister's marriage came out. Her mother collapsed. There was no one to comfort her. Everyone was engulfed in their own share of sadness and pain. For some time she had been numb. But when her dadi tried to make her eat something she ran away. She cried her heart out in the dark all alone with no one beside to comfort her.

And then He came. While she sat on the bench outside the hospital she felt a warm hand on her shoulder. She knew it was him. The warm and assuring touch said it all. On any other day she would have sent him way but this time she was too tired to push him away.

She didn't stop him when he came to her with a plate of food. When she left purab, she had promised herself that she would lock away everything inside her. She had decided that she would never make herself so vulnerable to anybody. But somehow it just wouldn't happen with him around. She felt she could trust him. He would never do anything bad to her.

And for the first time in the last two days she felt she was not alone. All this while her mother had refused to talk to her. Her sister was broken and her dadi was too busy trying to mend things. She had felt she had nobody. But when he came she suddenly felt assured that no matter what happened, she would always have one person who would never leave her side.

She had thought it was the end of the life she always dreamed of. She would never have her prince charming. She would never have a true love story. The world of illusion, she had built for herself, had broken down. In her life till now she had never faced real problems. And suddenly she could see nothing but darkness she was unknown to.

Her di and dadi would tell her to move on. They would tell her how maybe they were not meant to lead a married life. They would tell her that if her maa and her dadi had managed, she could too.

But nothing would register.

Whenever they met, they would never talk. Not at all. They had not even exchanged a word in the last two weeks. She would find comfort in his presence and the silence would soothe her. But one day she could not take it anymore.

"Everything is over suresh. My love is gone. Is this how you felt when you saw me slipping from your hand?"

"Losing your love is not the end of everything. Every end is the beginning of something new. If not for yourself then for for the people around you, but you have to keep moving"

This was all he said before he walked away. All these days her dadi and di said numerous things but only this registered in her mind.

She could suddenly feel a new light of hope around her. Now she knew, it was not just the ending but also the beginning of something new.

If rachnas back, then suresh may also be back. And maybe there will be interaction with bulbul?? I don't expect any srs forward mvmt on Subul but at least they might get a tiny amount of screentime ;)
