well like i said , i dont have done it in the manner janvi did but i still wouldnt wear them on a daily basis. i jus twould have put them away with the other jewels and wear them at family events and stuff.

My take on this is that first I think all of us have noticed the make up and bangles these girls sleep with c'mon --and the fact that they are so so ready early in the morning--usually the whole house is sleeping and the new bahu is in her fanciest sari all dressed doing pooja like at 5 in the morning--does that really happen?

but the kangans--i mean i don't think rathod bahus are really expected to be working so that is not the issue--i think they are showing them as typical house wife bahus who look pretty all day. So on that note those kangans shouldn't be a problem--but i guess the writer is trying to make a point huh?

nonetheless they are big and heavy and outside of drama world they would most likely be limited to parties and functions.

This is more for family tradition...You can wear them at all times if your a home body...But if your working, I wouldnt wear them either...but at home, if i had to i would and going go to family occasions i would also wear them...But NO i would never sleep in my jewlery..that is just so uncomfortable...And how do they sleep with all the makeup and jewlery and especially in thier sari's... 😳

I didn't like the way she totally disregarded tradition and all that, but damn it! If I had clothes like Niyati, I wouldn't wear jeans for the rest of my life!!! I'm so jealous! I want her wardrobe! 😭
