Anuj dabbles in theatre production with Psy-clone

After his recent foray into television production, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films, Anuj Saxena is now all set to venture into theatre producution in collaboration with Nirav Parekh's Maincourse Productions.

His first play to be staged in Mumbai this month is called Psy-clone and is written and directed by Sanjay Srinivas. It stars Naved Aslam, 2003 Miss Afghanistan Vida Samadzai, Pratima Kazmi, Chinmai Kelkar, Monty Gill and Kavita Sharma.

Talking about his entry into theatre, Saxena says it's an extension of his venture into the field of entertainment.

"I already have a production house that produces commecials, South Indian Films, documentaries and serials. Theatre is another addition as plays not only have their own market, but are also good business propositions too. Besides maincourse Productions is an established theatre production company with over the five years of experience. It has done several successful plays like Uncle Samjha Karo, Chanakyashastra, Paying Guest, Kya Karen control Nahin Hota and Teen Bandar Resort Ke Andar." says Saxena. He is also very excited about the films he is into. He is the man financing Viveck Vaswani's film Dulha Mil Gaya with Shahrukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Fardeen Khan and newcomer Ishita sharma. Anuj is excited about the new venture and hopes it is successful.
