Hey everyone! Here's today's detailed update! Wow great episode, if possible, only read the update after you've watched the video to clarify, this is a must-watch epi!
Recap: The prosecutor accusing Niyati of the murder, Niyati's lawyer wondering out loud why Niyati had given the kangan to Amit, and saying that Niyati is lying because she doesn't even know what weapon was used to kill Amit. Niyati's lawyer with Rajlakshmi telling her that the next day, Niyati would be proven guilty.
Padma is praying when the car pulls up to the driveway. Padma thinking Niyati has come back thanks bhagwaan and goes to meet her. She happily inquires that Niyati has come back? Everyone looks at her gravely as she makes her way to the door, thinking that Niyati is just hiding from her and asks her to stop playing games with her and come out. She continues to call Niyati's name but slowly realizes that she isn't there. Vasu taps her shoulder slightly and Padma turns around looking broken and lost. Padma looks at Vikram and says that you had said that Niyati would come back. As Vikram bows his head, Vasu Dadi tells Padma just to bear today as Niyati would be back home the next day. Dadi says that the case is in their hands and that if time hadn't run out today, Niyati would have been home already and Padma smiles.
Niyati is sitting her cell thinking when suddenly Rajveer comes to meet her. She slowly gets up so that they can talk (she looks soo pretty and natural even without makeup!) Rajveer says he can't bear to see Niyati in this state and asks her why she wouldn't tell everyone the truth. Niyati says that if she tells the truth, trouble with start and she can't do that to Bua at this age. Rajveer asks her is she has ever thought about herself, what people were saying about her, what questions she was being asked in court. He says that it's good that the case was going in her favour but says he can't see all this especially when he knows the truth. Niyati said that he took her vow that he wouldn't tell the family or anyone the truth and says that it must have been written in her fate that this would happen. She requests him not to come to court tomorrow and Rajveer says that she has given him her request, he has taken her vow but now he will do what he thinks is right because he can't see Niyati in this condition. He storms off saying he knows exactly what he needs to do and Niyati calls after him saying to listen to her but to no avail.
Carol is pacing the room waiting for Rajveer. As Rajveer enters, Carol inquires what had happened and what Niyati had said. Rajveer dejectedly tells Carol that Niyati isn't ready to listen to anything but he has made a decision. Carol asks what he will do and Rajveer says he will have to break a promise and says sorry to Carol. Carol asks what promise he was talking about but Rajveer refuses to tell her. Carol comes up to him and says that whatever he has to do, to do it fast because she knows Niyati couldn't have done the murder. Rajveer thinks to himself hot to tell Carol that he knows that Niyati is innocent. Suddenly Carol says that she is the only one who knows that Niyati did not do the murder because she knows who did. Rajveer is shocked and turns around, looking at his wife.
The next day, the judge calls for the proceedings to begin again as Niyati is brought in. The prosecutor says he has one final witness who's testimony will make it clear that Niyati was guilty. He introduces a waiter who worked at the Hotel. He says that the waiter saw Niyati kill Amit. Niyati is shocked and confused as her "lawyer" shifts his head towards Raj, not looking the least bit surprised. The waiter comes in and promises to say only the truth. The waiter identifies himself as Chandu Mohan Sawant and says that he was a waiter at the hotel and he had had a night shift the night of the murder. He illustrates what he had seen happen, saying he had seen a girl with a shawl on her head enter Amit's room, and that two minutes prior, Amit had ordered food. 10 minutes later, Chandu had come to the room and found the door slightly open and so he slipped in. He says that when he entered, he saw Amit bleeding and the girl he had seen earlier was standing above Amit with a knife in her hand. The prosecutor asks Chandu if he can identify the girl and the he replies that he could. He is asked if the girl is in the court and again he replies yes.
Suddenly footsteps are shown climbing the stairs of the courthouse (hero aagaya!) The prosecutor asks Chandu to show the court who the girl was. Chandu points to Niyati and says that she was the girl. The whole family looks on shocked as Rajlakshmi and Niyati's lawyer share a sly smile. Niyati is shocked completely and very confused. Chandu is dismissed and the prosecutor sits down. Footsteps are shown running up the stairs and entering the building.
The judge says that with the evidence provided by Mr. Chandu, about seeing Niyati there on that night and having the weapon with her, has lead the court to the decision that Niyati did do the crime and that she is guilty. However, before he can complete his sentence, someone shouts to stop! Everyone looks toward the entrance and SHAURYA is shown ( I miss Imran Khan SOOO much, hopefully Sachin is just as awesome!) Niyati quietly whispers Shaurya's name as he walks towards the front of the court. He asks the judge for permission to say something before he verdict is announced. The judge says that they have to announce the decision and he came in like this. Shaurya says that if he doesn't say the truth now, the court would give the punishment to an innocent person. The judge asks who he is and Shaurya replies that he is Shaurya Rathore and that he was Niyati's fiance.
The judge asks him what he knows about the case and Shaurya says that he knows who the killer is. The prosecutor asks what all this is and that when it has already been proven, the judge cuts him off asking him to sit down. The judge says that no innocent can be punished and says that according to Shaurya, Niyati was innocent. The judge asks him who had committed the crime. Shaurya looks at Niyati, then his parents and finally calls Rajveer! Rajveer slowly enters the courtroom as Niyati is shocked. Niyati breaks down and tells Rajveer not to tell anyone anything and begs him not to say anything in front of the court as Shaurya looks on. Rajveer says he did indeed make a promise and that he wasn't breaking it. Shaurya introduces him as his brother and says that he will tell the court who the real killer was. He slowly begins saying that Niyati had not done the murder and that the murder was done by CAROL!
Haiii what an episode! Tomorrow is going to be awesome! Hmmmm I think Imran and Daljit make a better pairing as Shaurya-Niyati but Sachin did a great job today and I haven't even seen him and Daljit in a close scene together lol so my opinion will probably change!
