Actor Shaleen Bhanot has uttered only one word — 'Niyati', in Kulvaddhu, so far

Shaleen Bhanot

Shaleen Bhanot aka Agni in Kulvaddhu is dying to speak a few lines in the serial, literally. Shaleen, who plays the villain in the show, has already shot more than 15 episodes, but has so far, muttered a single name, 'Niyati'.

Says a source in the production house, "When Shaleen had signed the dotted line, he had been promised a meaty role in the show. Even after the completion of 15 episodes, he is mute in the show. Moreover, the actor is also a little troubled about the fact that the lead actor Imran Mashkoor Khan, is hogging the limelight all through. So, he requested the writers to give him some dialogues in the serial. Finally, the production house has granted his wish."

When contacted Shaleen said, "It was really a challenge for me to go without dialogue for days together. My character is a negative one, a little unconventional from the usual villains on the small screen. Here my facial expressions are more important than my dialogues. It was planned, so that it can create a different impact on the audience. I cannot interfere with the script, because Kulvaddhu is a plot-driven story. But, I am happy that I have started uttering dialogues which go will go on air very soon, "he said.

Thank God he's getting more dialogues 😆 I was tired of seeing the same evil face..!! Now he can look evil and talk !! 😛

I admire Agni(Shaleen) has been so popular in his performance without any dialogues even more than shourya

It was Agni's😳 character to speak less and to give the evil eye more.......and like Shaleen said, he can't complain or interfere with the original story. 😊

But on the other hand, its completely understandable if he feels a bit disturbed due to the fact that he shot 15 episodes without uttering any dialogues except the name 'Niyati'. And he also feels a bit threatened by Shourya's character, as he has more to say and do than him.

But here's the good part: Shaleen has nothing to worry about becuz even without him speaking, he's already a popular character, whereas Imran had to speak to get popular😛
