| Rons Bantwal for Daijiworld Media Network – Mumbai (AF) Mumbai, Jan 17: Vasant Vihar Lioness Club president Mala Shetty and district president Chhaya Karekar attended the All India Lioness Conference held recently in Gurgaon near New Delhi. The Bombay District 323 A2, represented by Mala Shetty and Chhaya Karekar, won the Highest Attendance Award, the award for the Best Dressed District in Parade for Conference and several other awards on the occasion. Former DIG Kiran Bedi was the chief guest for the programme. A documentary film 'Ek Aur Prananjali' on HIV/AIDS, recently produced by Mala Shetty was the highlight of the conference. The film was shot at J Somaiya Hospital Aids Cell and sponsored, produced and acted in by noted TV actor D R Anuj Saxena, through his production house Maverick Productions. |
