I do understand the problem Ranbir faces, if Kanya becomes Natasha in his absence. But Natasha is an alter ego of Kanya and actually in split personality cases usually the victim is unable to do something forceful and protect themselves and this evolves the split personality. Here Natasha is very powerful which means Kanya's alter ego of Natasha evolved when Kanya was faced with something powerful. So logically the best thing for Ranbir would have been that he just postpones the marriage till the problem is solved rather than going ahead and breaking up with a "bewafa clause".

Actually it would have been good if the character Manav is played by a really dashing guy. That would have been really good. Ranbir would have been jealous more than he is now. But I feel he deserves it because he choose to break the relationship. Whatever it is Love doesn't ask for suffering. It asks for happiness. Honestly my 2cents on this topic.

But seriously guys Kanya is not a mind reader nor is Ranbir.😆 How would she know what Ranbir is thinking or what he's doing and for who he is doing it for? And how is Ranbir supposed to know that Kanya didn't betray him?(Remember how he reacted when he found out she's Natasha) He was all ready to expose her and he looked at her as if he was going to kill her). They both have or had doubts about each other and misunderstandings as well. Especially in the past during the Godbole days. How was she supposed to know that Ranbir had changed? Sure she started to like him a little but then she started not to expect anything from him because at that time he wasn't willing to admit anything. And now even if it was for pretend, she SAW the man that she loves in bed with another woman. How would you feel? She was shocked, jealous, and shattered. Are you telling me you wouldn't feel the same way????!! And the things he said to her? Well that made her feel insecure and lowered her self-esteem in herselff. He practically brought her out of her fantasy world and back into her reality where she is just a ordinary middle-class girl. So she decided to prove Ranbir wrong by deciding to go look for a job but on her way she found Manav (an equally middle-class boy) where she asked him if something was wrong with her. But the way Manav complimented her she started to feel better about herself thus she ended up asking him if he would marry her. For two reasons she's going through with this whole marriage thing -Ranbir (well mostly because of Ranbir) and because Manav is the first guy who complimented her after she was rejected by Ranbir. She's basically punishing herself by marrying someone she hardly knows but in way feels is he's the right guy for her who is in her status level. But not in the romantic level. Manav likes her more than she does😆. She's doing all this to spite Ranbir because Ranbir is very much in her heart. Damn it, Ranbir has her heart. If he didn't then she wouldn't have felt his presence outside the restaurant. (I really loved that scene by the way, the way she placed her hand on her heart. That was nicely done.)

Anyways, this whole suffering thing can we just agree to diagree??!! The way I see it they both are suffering and will continue to suffer. They both have suffered.

Yes, she suffered at first. With the whole Ayan deal, but after that? Other than the split personality disorder which she is unaware of...she didn't suffer that much. Evne though they didn't want Kanya's character to be the rona dona type, they STILL should have shown atleast SOME emotion coming for her. I did see it when she was questioning Ranbir's love...but after that?? It was like WHATEVER! On to a new guy! And yes, perhaps she's just trying to prove to Ranbir that she is capable for marriage and such, but geez! What is UP with her!

During Ranbir's sufferings, she was chasing after Chunnu, saying that she wanted to marry him and blah blah blah. So I agree, Kanya's character DOES need to grow up a bit and be much more stronger. Ranbir's gone through so much, and he learned from his mistakes. It's Kanya's turn. She too needs to show how strong she is and how strong her love is. There hasn't been much of a change in Kanya, as there was in Ranbir.

And yes, this is just a show, but if Kanya is the protagonist, they atleast need to give her a strong, solid role. Not this confused, childish role that she's portraying. I agree with both sides where it is proclaimed that both Ranbir and Kanya were wrong. But atleast Ranbir made up for his mistakes, and is still trying. Kanya on the other hand, is still selfish with the matter.

Poor creatives are tounge tied and handstied- they r scared to give more depth to her character cos they have their doubts of her pulling it off.
so till our heroine fully proves her potential to the creatives, all we will get is an imbalance in the percentage of love felt between both sides.
