The rays of sun pierced in through the window of a girl's bedroom.The morning light distracts her sleep also putting a halt to the flights of fantasy she soars during her sleep.Kitna acha sapna dekhe rahi thi mein ab hi suraj ko niklna tha she mutters to herself.
Kya hua kanya betia, subah subah thumhari chehra itni utri kyun hai?Kanya luks up to find Raghu Kaka her caretaker who her dad had appointed since she was a child, but for her he was more than that. He was the one who comforted her while she was distressed, guided her between right and wrong, shared her happiness and comforted her while she felt dejected, he encouraged and supported her in her decisions taught her the meaning of life which has both ups and downsā¦..so she thought of him as a father infact when she was a child she used to call him dad but once she was mature enough to understand things Raghu Kaka disclosed the fact that he was just a caretaker and nothing more than that.It was heartbreaking for her but as time passed she was happy atleast her dad appointed a caring and affectionate person as her guardian.She shakes her head and says app kabhi nahi badlenga referring to the glass of juice he was holding in a tray. She had told him umpteen times not to bring her drink to her room and that they were several servants who could do it.He keeps the tray on the side table and sits besides her on the couch.Apne bath ki dad se. Ji nahi betyia abhi thak tho nahi mauka nahi mila, who naya mall ki project se busy thae.Kab who busy nahi rehta š” dad hamesha kam mein dubba rehta hain she says with a sigh.Lekin beta who saab..she leaves the room in frustration leaving Raghu Kaka in mid sentence.
Scuttling through the grand stairs of her mansion,kanya dashes into her dad who was on his way to take a file he had forgotten.Both utter a word of apology and go their own way.The butler who had witnessed the scene thinks out aloud how formal their relation of a father and a daughter is.He feels quite sad š that though they have everything money,fame but not love.A love of a father and a daughter,a love of a husband and a wife.
Kanya sat near the seashore and watched the waves sweeping up in graceful curves.Whenever she felt lonely,she came to the beach.It comforted her weary soulš.And today was one among those days when she felt that she was the only being left in this world.Life seemed full of loneliness š .She sees some kids splashing about in the water with their parents that's when she remembers her childhood days which were dull and monotonous .The sharp and irritating sound of her cell blaring interrupted her gloomy thoughts.She luked at her caller id and saw an unknow number flashing.She pressed the call button and answered the call.
Caller: hey,any plans of waking up.Hope u remember that we have to go for the rehearsals.
Kanya: Hā¦HELLOOOO
Caller: naya gf š
Kanya: What!i think u rung the wrong number š
Caller: What!why didn't u say this before.Do u know how much time I wasted not only that but also my credit(the amount in the phone),damn š”
Kanya: Are u out of order?first u dialed the wrong number then u talk like a chatterbox nonstopā¦she hears an engage tone indicating that the caller at the other had cut the call.Pata nahi kaysa admi hai yai.No manners by the way why am I thinking of that idiot š¤¢
It was getting late and the sun was setting making it shimmer with pastel colors on the surface of the water.She gets into her car and drives off.
