This week's episode of Kaho Na Yaar Hai will show the baddies of television, Rakshanda Khan and Akashdeep Sehgal as they battle it out in a special episode, the 'Villains special' episode. The episode airs on Friday, March 7 at 8 pm on Star Plus.
The Telly Buzz team caught up both the stars to find out more about their experience being on the show. Akashdeep was on the show with his friends Bunty Grewal and Sooraj Thapar. Commenting on the show Akashdeep says, "It is a good game show as it gives us an opportunity to catch up with our friends. I got the time to catch up with two of my oldest friends with whom I normally don't get the time to meet up." Asked about his experience being a part of the show the actor says, "It was very sweet as I got to be on the show with two of my closest friends." After working with Rakshanda in serials, how did it feel being on the show along with her friends? "It was very nice", replies Akashdeep, "She's a good friend and I know her quite well. In fact I even told her that I would let her go for the trip, if I won it as I have no time to go for it being busy with my shooting. But ultimately she won the contest."
Rakshanda on the other hand was basking in the glory of winning the contest with a fully paid trip to Pattaya. Speaking about her experience she says, "It was a good experience. We were playing opposite Akashdeep and two of his good friends whom I also happen to know quite well. I know Bunty from my modeling days and I have worked with Sooraj before. So it was fun." A lot of pranks were played on Rakshanda on the show as she recalls, "They played a prank on me where they brought a director who wanted me to shoot a promo for a show and he kept pronouncing my name wrongly. He also made me do latkas and jhatkas which I found very bizarre and I almost lost my temper after a certain point of time."
She laughs recollecting her experience and further adds, "They did the same thing with Akash where in they told him that they had lined up an interview with a Russian film producer. But at the end of the day, it was quite funny." An exhilarated Rakshanda was on seventh heaven as she won the trip to Pattaya as she says, "That was great. I still haven't got the time to make the trip as yet, but I am eagerly awaiting it as all three of us, that's me, Kedar and Geeta have never gone together on a holiday, and I have never been to Bangkok either. So it'll be pretty exciting and fun."
