Part 7
Recap-Vaidehi begins her plotting to make Eklavya, Laksh and KT's life a misery. Anyone that hurt her aunt Tripti had to pay. Besides she loved toying with people's mind made it so much fun. Ranbir started getting feelings for Kanya. To nip it before he was in too deep he made Kanya feel cheap by his nasty remarks. Kanya in return retaliated.
1 month Later
Shantiniketan
During the whole month Laksh and KT try to stay away from each other but Vaidehi pushes them together in every turn. Making any bond between Eklavya and KT difficult. KT has since forsaken her love for Laksh for her future with Eklavya despite Eklavya's tough love approach. He was hurt more than anything and had adopted Ranbir style attitude towards both KT and others around him. Eklavya only showed his real self to Kanya and Ranbir who were lost to each other from the corner of the world.
Laksh felt bad that he had to rely on KT for advice on his family life and wife. He never did things right in the eyes of Vaidehi. She always complained. He sure wasn't giving her the rights of a wife as he wasn't comfortable with her nor got over his feelings for KT. He didn't think it would be fair on her. Vaidehi didn't care she was just riled up that Ranbir went back on his words and wouldn't accept her. Apparently he didn't like used goods or have any relations with married women. He betrayed her and nobody got away double crossing her like that. Ranbir had another thing coming and would pay. She just needed to find his weakness which were his family. She'd strike when the time was right.
L-KT i know i keep coming to U but i don't know who else to turn to.
KT-Laksh Vaidehi needs to know her man isn't going to betray her and still keep going to his ex. This is hurting both our marriages. Eklavya thinks we R together and U being here all the time coming to me doesn't help. Try to understand we are married to different people. Ones that R nothing like us. It will take time to get to know them well. Just give them a chance.
L-I try to but its hard.
KT-Nobody said it was going to be easy. U have to forget me. As for friendship it can't happen.
L-KT not our friendship.
KT-Its a sacrifice i'm willing to make for my marriage. [Laksh holds KT's hand]
L-KT please.
KT-Its not that i want to break our friendship Laksh but U R too dependent on me thats not done. Even Kanya agrees she's the one that told me that to gain something sometimes U have to lose something. I decided to lose us forever.
L-I can't lose U as a friend KT. [Eklavya enters the scene watching Laksh pull KT towards him in an embrace which was a goodbye hug]
E-U 2 again. Can't U at least wait while i was out. Everytime U R together behind my back. How obvious do U want to make it?
KT-Eklavya its not what U think.
L-Both of us...................
E-No need to discuss your dirty deeds. I guess i should really leave this sham of a marriage. Make it easier for the 2 of U. no i won't do that KT U need to do something really extreme to get the man U want.
KT-Eklavya please listen to me. [She runs after him]
By then its too late Eklavya storms out of the house and KT is left in a flood of tears. Kanya comes by to see Eklavya who is outside kicking the air in his rage.
K-Someone's angry! U won't hit me will U?
E-Don't be silly Kan U know i'd never do that despite what my family think.
K-KT and U have another row?
E-That clear huh?
K-I can tell when U hurt Eklavya we have been friends over a year. I came to thank U for that business post U put up for me i can't thank U enough.
E-Well U R capable and i gave references to Malika aunty and she is in agreement. Your biggest problem will be Ranbir think U can handle him.
K-It will be my pleasure. Besides you'll be there every step of the way. Eklavya i have a favour to ask.
E-Anything for my dear friend.
K-Please keep KT happy. I can't see her upset. I know there is a love of baggage and its understandable that KT and Laksh will see each other U do live under the same roof. Go away on a break on a honeymoon.
E-I have business to run.
K-Excuses when will U learn U can't hide away forever. Get away from here, from Laksh, start working on your marriage. U love KT right?
E-Yes.
K-Then prove it and don't be so harsh on her. Or lose your temper. Be cool calm and collected. Go on a business outing and mix it with pleasure. I can help with KT and get U both started on getting your love life on track. Just follow my lead and please don't think i'm after U if i get a little too close ok.
E-Kanya U naughty girl. I guess U have been paying attention to whats wrong. Fine U R coming with us in this outing and learn the trade of how business is done. So planning to do what? Ranbir told me to play hard to get.
K-U get jealous whenever Laksh touches KT or even talks to her. Well we need to get her to do the same thing only with me. Ranbir is an idiot. Grade A duffer. He can't keep a woman and U R taking advice from him.
E-U have a point.
K-Just make sure Laksh isn't anywhere with us please. We can take Bhumi and Joydeep with us and that way U can mend some bridges with them.
E-U R a good friend.
K-I know. U R so lucky.
E-Ranbir will be there in Goa. U guys can't stand each other.
K-Then the fun has only just begun. I have a score to settle with him. Please don't tell him i'm going with U i want to see his face. It will be a Kodak moment.
E-I better go and get the whole thing organized. I'll go get Joydeep and take Laksh with me. He needs Vaidehi to keep him busy. Don't worry about Ranbir i'll keep it a secret. I'm not getting caught in your fued with him. Its nasty and quite frankly U guys scare me.
K-U R so evil. U R the same as him with your temper and say i'm scary have U seen yourself in slow motion. I'll go and have a chat with KT.
Kanya goes upstairs and see's KT crying holding a picture of Eklavya. She was talking to herself not knowing what to do.
K-KT stop this crying. Its all U ever do. I can tell U and Eklavya had another argument but U need to see it from his view. Laksh is your ex and any husband would find it threatening if what was between U is unfinished. KT look at me. U still haven't allowed Eklavya in your heart. Without that your words mean nothing. Its action as much as words. U say so much but your eyes and heart don't say anything.
KT-Kanya what am i supposed to do. Laksh is everywhere. Eklavya can't get passed me and Laksh as history he thinks we R having an affair. Do U know how much that hurts. His words cut through me.
K-He can be hurtful sometimes KT. He is like this coz he loves U 2 much. He probably feels like a caged animal keeping his feelings bottled up. KT its crunch time and u need to figure out what U want. DO U WANT UR MARRIAGE TO WORK? OR DO U WANT LAKSH?
KT-Laksh is my past i can't change that. Eklavya is my future. He's my husband.
K-Then see him as your life, love and soul accept him as your husband. He might not be your first love but he can be your last. Allow him here[points to her heart]. Give him a place there before it is too late. He will wait for U but for how long KT? He is a human too. Everyone has their limits. He loves U more than his own life. Willing to go through any lengths that U will never know. Love him back. Let him see how much U love him. I have to go KT but its been a month and U guys R worse off than when U married. Remember love can't be held by anyone and by restricting yourself U will only hurt yourself and those around U. just feel don't think. Bye KT.
KT thinks long and hard about what Kanya said to her. She decides that Kanya is right. She didn't give herself fully to Eklavya but she will try and just only think about Eklavya and not feel sorry for herself. She just prayed it wasn't too late. How could she be so blind. KT was greatful she had a friend like Kanya that was there for her.
Ranbir-NANDA HOUSE
It was a month and Ranbir was still missing Kanya. He tried to fill that void like he usually did with women and booze nothing worked. He thought about her a lot especially the stormy night which was the last day he saw her. He saw the hurt in her eyes and it be replaced by rage at him. Nobody challenged him like she did or even speak her mind. The beginning of the months was the hardest but he only knew the girl a few days and she'd left such a big impression on him that he was still thinking about her. He hoped wherever she was she was happy making someone else feel bad.
Ranbir didn't dare bring up Kanya in front of Eklavya as he feared his friend would tease him mercilessly. He couldn't let on how he was feeling not to anyone. He was in his mothers bad books as he was her only son she banned him from late nights but with Eklavya going on this business trip she was ok with it. Aditya bhaiya[His cousin who was like his own brother was also his managers at his empire. He was happy to get away from his evil vamp wife Astha] was coming with him to chaperone. He felt like a kid needing a minder. His mother was on his case about marriage the whole month. He was just glad to get away from his mad family.
R-Bro please let me do my own thing when i'm in GOA.
A-Malika Chachi will kill me. Gundi jaisi hain. She sounds murderous when she was lecturing U over your countless women. I love my life too much my brother to face her wrath. I will follow U like a shadow. But don't worry U will have space to do your own thing.
R-Ok fine. Bhabie won't be on your case and U can go sight seeing. While i mix business with pleasure.
A-Don't have too much fun Chachi took rein of the business away from U for a month to teach U a lesson don't go blow it in her face otherwise U will be banned for life.
R-Don't worry bro i have no plans to do such things. Eklavya will be there. He's bringing his family there well his wife and brother-in-law should be fun.

R-All packed up. Goa will see the party people coming.
