Good morning , am wishing u goodmorning but writing about the night
Night
As dusk gives away to the darkness,
Shadows lengthen, the world is quiet,
Birds return home to flock
Hasty greeting and cheery byes,
As the shadows lengthen ,
The still is broken by a frogs croak ,
Or a drone of a firefly
Whose glittering wings light up the sky
Night in all her glory casts a spell
The quietness reckons,
The eyes close as sleep beckons,
Dreams drift into pastures
Some sad , some sweet ,
Glimpses of a paradise ,
The moon in her silvery sheen ,
Softly falls on the face ,
And awakens my slumber within a space ,
As I lie in bed memories flood my mind ,
Of another time and place ,
Sounds of distant laughter, of love filled nights ,
I know they are gone forever
Yet can still savour the pleasure ,
They still bring a smile ,
A warmth of love forever,
And slowly I turn and slide into a deep slumber
