Yesterday been to city for some work and been to Koti also to see if we get gear cycles there...
Just a doubt, have you tried the local ones with gears...am worried about maintenance...do we get anyone to do it or everytime I have to carry it to branded maintenance shop???

They don't have brands like Btwin and Firefox but other bikes...don't even remember their names now...Just a doubt, have you tried the local ones with gears...am worried about maintenance...do we get anyone to do it or everytime I have to carry it to branded maintenance shop???
1. Other bikes.. geared ones especially have no performance guarantee and they are not comfortable either. I personally would not recommend them.2. There won't be much maintenance for these good cycles. Things like oiling or air or puncture anyone can do. You need not take it to the branded maintenance shops. Only for some yearly servicing or some major issue you need to take there. My husband has Trek cycle. He has had it for nearly two years now. Took it for decathelon for servicing only once until now. So that is not an issue.
