Chapter 6 Review:

If last chapter had Ashu's self thoughts this is about Nidhi. Every minute in his company is only making her more vulnerable. And even if she's not in his company, she is vulnerable. That much has become clear to her as she fled the scene upon hearing the continuation of the story and the deep yearning, remorse and regret in his voice. She has learnt that in spite of all her hardstone shell she can just as easily be persuaded by the longing she sees in him. so once more she hardens her resolve to remain detached!

True. She fears her own vulnerability. Once bitten, twice shy.

Her firmness has lasted for the entire week, and now AShu is almost worried by her impassiveness, almost mentally begging for the old Nidhi to reappear somehow. He ahs recognized himself in her and knows what a lonely journey that is! And he wants her out of it. He silently wills her to change and is more determined than ever to stand by her.

very well explained Aarti. He doesn't want her to become like him because he knows what thats like. Laughter, impishness, liveliness, passion, love..all the things that he had associated with her and loved about her are nowhere seen now. That hurt him the most. The fact that he was the reason she was not that person any more.

Nidhi's inaction has even the troublesome twosome worried! And Armaan has revealed about Ashu's tacit agreement to all their shenanigans! That scene in the canteen was pure fun, love this pair! And they even smartly cajole the assistant doc, Bhargav to take a two week vacation, to clear the coast. Goes to show two intelligent, street smart men with good intensions can definitely give Destinty itself a run for its money!

Nidhi as the senior managing a bunch if interns is an eye-opener. Goes to show how much one can change after being in a hospital day in and day out for the best part of 4 years... So Nidhi is the serious doc now and the interns look to her! Wonderful! But later as he enters what follows is sheer beauty... he is the one wearing the surgical mask but seeing him injured its her mask that slips.

😲 and you say you are not romantic.. do you realize you actually sound quite poetic here?? 😆

She unconsciously becomes his woman ministering her man soothing his wound and trying not to get affected by it. but she fails and he gets his ray of hope, one that he grabs with both hands and feet, even welcoming this injury. Loved this scene.. beautifully portrays the deep emotional involvement between these two. And yet he knows that if he even makes a move this magic will vanish... and it does! Nidhi tries to hide behind the professional faade but in vain! So once again she flees, this time because she has openly shown her vulnerability to him!

yes and that was all he wanted. One glimpse..a ray of hope for him to hold and pursue. And such is the joy at seeing that ray that he doesn't even mind her fleeing the scene.

So now it's Destiny's turn to help them... and bam, there's a function! Once more Ashu grabs this chance, its his second life line! He even convinces her to wait for him. But yet again he is reminded of the past because of one word... and more things get revealed in a different light, he realizes his own folly, this time with respect to his fears about their interests, age, depth of her feelings and most importantly Malika's influence!

He has realized his fears. Wonder what it would take for him to overcome those same fears.

Lovely chapter Sujatha... the OPD scene was very poignant. Waiting to see their trip to the orphanage!

Chapter 7 Review:

Starting with the flip side of the story. The DB-CV conversation throws some more light into the circumstances leading to Nidhi's self exile. At the same time there is mild respect and even admiration from her Baba at what she has made herself into, and all by herself. But DB as usual does not see the full picture. From CVs words can we hope that after two years of waiting he will accept the Ashni relationship faster than DB? He's already curious about the guy and his suspicions about Nidhi, her silence, her change are almost bang on!

I don't know...as you know..I haven't thought that far. Lets see. but yes, I think DB will take longer than CV.

The meddlesome twosome doing their best to give Destiny a helping hand! What a conversation and Armaan completely going berserk! What an imagination and what songs!

Songs are all courtesy from Vidisha and Suku. They spammed my thread one night thinking up all scenarios where Ashu could end up spending the night with Nidhi (politely phrased). I couldn't let all their effort go waste. So picked their songs and brought them here.

But this conversation is so real, I could see it come alive! Armaan is a livewire and a true friend indeed! And Ranga's emotional tactic with Anji never seem to desert him! "How can she? Anji is shorter..."... seriously Sujatha I laughed out loud here! And even at "Clothes are under-rated mere bhai...!! OMG!! That conversations was hilarious too... Ashu faking his anger but all the time enjoying being teased... almost welcoming it. after all he has allowed himself to feel now!

yes. Glad you noticed that Ashu Armaan scene. It was a small one but i enjoyed writing the Ashu who was determined not to give away anything (although he was enjoying it) and the Armaan who was equally determined to push his friend's buttons. (he knows his friend is changing and wants to speed up the process)

Lovely car ride. And the first part about the dress, her anticipation and nervousness. And violet and lavender!! Again!

yes again. I love that. I'm partial to that. Making no excuses. 😆

Anyway, once again her insecurity comes through at his lack of response in the past. So once again she steels her heart, but is left defenseless and awkward when he praises her! But their subject becomes the ice breaker, followed by the children! But why did he not touch her face?? Just kidding!

He touched. He didn't cup her cheeks though. Nidhi ran off before he could do that.

Everything happens smoothly but it the calm before the storm which arrived soon in the form of Mallika!!! Whoa!! And what an arrival... "Koi laut ke aaya hai!" Indeed!!!

Will this renewed AShni stand a chance now? Will Ashut apply all his thoughts and theories about the past in his actions? nidhi has already bolted.. will she be willing to face the litmus test again, even if he is?? And especially when neither are sure where they are headed?? Very interesting. Cannot wait for the next one now...

What will he do and what will she do... you'll know soon enough. 😉😆

Thank you for this early review Aarti. This definitely throws light on the whole chapter..not just the M entry. 😆 After that last sentence, people have forgotten the rest of the chapter. Such is the M effect I guess. Or should I say She Devil's cliffhanger effect. 😈 😆

Ashutosh had so much of love but was not able to convey it to Nidhi due to his reserved nature, and she took it as lack of interest. Her disappointment was described in Nidhi's thoughts from past.👏

yes. not everyone is good with words. Def not this guy. And she needs to accept that and learn to read his silence. That says a lot too as she will realize soon enough.

Kids dance scene was good ,as I said he regretted his decision of not going to orphanage.Here he was building hope and making decision and .

😲 now we have to bear the effect of explosion made by you and handle for next 4 days,but I am sure you will sooth it with next chapter.
