To all of those who have watched HAHK, and realized about this rasm of joota-flicking. Till then, People thought that shoes were stolen only in temples and swimming pools. I don't know, I wasn't even born then...In fact, Nikki in one of my cousin sister's wedding (from the father's side) got so curious about this churana of Joote, that she went and offered her joote, "You want Joote? here, take mine also..."
Anyways, jokes and Innocence apart., the rasm was done half way in AshNi wedding. I mean, Ashutosh joote were flicked by Anji but never returned. Now I want to know why.
And I could think of many reasons, the chief ones being.
7. Ashutosh saw no reason to part with money and have them back...Kanjoos! As it is, he was not going to use them again, right? A person gets married only once...
6. He thought of leaving them back for Ranga, as it is, Ranga was going to get married in a little while. Why waste money on something you are going to wear only once? Pass it over...
5. He remembered the episode when he had to wear the colourful ones in Priyanka's wedding, and didn't want to repeat the same mistake. As it is, he wasn't sure kiske joote lautaye jayenge...agar Dadi Bua ke aa gaye to? Manhooos !
4. He had a premonition about his accident. So joote kyoun chahiye when you have to sit in a wheelchair?
3. Anji misplaced the pair somewhere. Simple. They were so shining that Shyama aunty tried to do makeup assuming them to be the mirror.
2. Dadi Bua didn't want to Joote to be left behind, otherwise CS would have started dreaming about his own marriage again...
1. Armaan didn't want to dance with Anji, for the song: Paise de do...Joote le lo...he left that job to Ranga who messed it up...so best, forgive and forget...
