When Nidhi broke up with Ashu. He was so heart broken that he had lot of time and by default became head of an elite club called 'Going Grey' and converted all the white and black characters grey.

1. Hiraman Kaka
Ashu will have too much time at home, he will mope around and shed so much tears that poor Kaka will have to keep mopping the floor.
This will eventually anger Kaka and he will come up with devious plan of mopping up Ashu himself.

Ashu will have visions of Nidhi in different attires and will make potraits of her and this will make him a sought-after designer. Now that's reason enough to make Armaan and Anji grey. 
3. Rohan
He will be direct competition for Rohan, not for winning Nidhi's love but ...
just out of sheer boredom, Ashu will start cooking noodles and excel at it.
Apart from that he will also become better than Rohan at doing nothing. So isn't Rohan justified in turning grey.

Ashu will give tuitions to 35+ men on how not to fall for young girls.
This will be direct competition for Sue's Mardology classes. Ashu will be sought after because his sessions will be practical while Sue has only her degree in psychology to fall back on. 
5. Ranga- Ashu will enroll himself for dance classes and become a hot "disco dancer', making Anji forget that she considered Ranga a good dancer.
6. Dadi bua - Ashu will start delving into mythology, astrology, religion karma, cosmic energy etc. and give lectures on these subjects, making the already redundant Dadi-Bua
