The first chap revolves around the
wedding celeberations of Nidhi, she
is an average middle class girl with
no big dreams and a practical
approach towards life; She just wants to lead a happy
married life like any other girl. But
unfortunately, her to be in-laws are
one of those people who put pressure
on the girl's family to give huge
dowry which they simply cannot
afford...
Mr Verma: Is in his office giving
invitation cards to his friend..
Tomorrow is the wedding of his
daughter Nidhi verma..
After giving invitations to all his
friends and to his boss Nidhi's father
return home and goes to his to wife
to talk about something
important.Nidhi notices her father's
restlesness and goes after
him. Mr Verma: nandini (nidhi's
mom) loan approve nahi huwa
Nandini: ab kya hoga hum rohan ke
ghar walon ki demands kaise poori
karenge nidhi ko Jahez mein car kaise dein gey
Verma:nandini mein kuch sochta hu tum
nidhi ke paas jao and dekho sab
tayarian poori ho gaein kal shadi hai
koi tayari baki nae rehni chahiye
jakey dekho kahien kuch chot na gya
ho Nidhi listens to all this and was
upset to see the way her parents were
worried all the time because of her
dowry, and she made up her mind to
refuse for this marriage with this
thought she returns to her room and
is thinking how to talk to his father
that she dnt want to get married
with rohan because she cant see her father
worried...
Nidhi goes to her father when
everyone is busy getting all the
arangements done for tomorrow.
Nidhi: baba mein yeh shadi nahi
karungi Mr verma: kyun nidhi beta
kya huwa Nidhi: baba mein apko aur
maa ko is tarah nahi dekh sakti ap
rohan ki mom ko mana kardein
Nidhi's father emotionally blackmails
her and she has to give in...
Next day early morning everyone is
running here and there and nandini
shouting anji anji kahan hai tu jake
apni behan ko utha beta bahut kaam
padha hai sab kaise hoga...
Anji: (nidhi's sis) mom sab ho jayega
relax and Anji goes to wake up nidhi
Anji: di di utho jaldi dekho kya time
ho raha hai abhi humein parlour bhi
jana hai bhool gai kya ap aj apki
shadi hai and hugs nidhi...
Nidhi gets up from the bed and goes
to get ready while getting ready she
sees towards her mehandi and thinks
(kehta hai mehandi ka rang gehara
ata hai toh uska pati usse bahut pyar
karta hai lekin rohan aur uske parents ko toh
bas dowry se matlab hai) she got sad
thinking about rohan and his
demands but the she puts a fake
smile on her face and goes with anji
to the parlour...
Night: in the wedding hall Mr verma:
nandini barat aney wali hai nidhi
tayar haina sari tayariyan ho gai na...
Nandini: han nidhi tayar hai sab
tayari hogai hai bas ek darr sa hai
mann mein key jab samdhiji and
samdhanji ko pata lag jaye ga key
hum car nahi de sake toh kahin barat
wapas na le jaye...
Mr verma: nandini aisa mat kaho sab
theekh hoga
Mathur mansion:
Alok mathur: (Ashu's dad) calls ashu
and says ashu beta mujhe kisi
bussiness party mein jana hai kya
tum meri jagah verma ki beti ki shadi mein ja saktey ho?
Ashutosh: (alok mathur's) son a
leading business man is a fun loving
and care free person and in love with
Natasha. Ashutosh: dad i have to go
out with natasha i cant go there
Alok mathur: beta u have to go there..
He is our loyal employee someone has
to go there na Ashu gives in and gets
ready for the wedding venue...
Wedding Hall:
At the room in the wedding hall
nidhi is ready wearing pink and
cream colour lehanga. The lehanga is
heavily decorated with zardosi and
zari work. Lehanga is fully emblished
with zari, goti, stone and zardosi
work.
And she is wearing a gold plated
necklace set,kangan nd nath..
Ashu enters the wedding hall Mr
verma sees him and welcomes him
and then waiter comes and serves
ashu cold drink But by mistake cold drink slips from his hand spoils ashu's shirt The Waiter apologises to ashu..Mr verma leads
ashu to up stairs so that ashu can wash his shirt but when they are on the stairs Nandini calls Mr verma and tells him barat has arrived Mr verma apologises to Ashutosh and ask him to go to the room which is in the left corner but when ashu goes there he finds the room locked and
then he finds another room and knocks on the door
Nidhi opens the door and both see
each other...
