Happy Dussehra To All Forumites..

People celebrate Dussehra in different ways in different parts of India..
In Maharashtra, children do 'Saraswati-Pooja' in school..
At home, we do Pooja of various appliances, laptop,computer,two wheelers, four wheelers,musical instruments.. We decorate the entrance door of our homes with garlands of merigold flowers and mango leaves..and draw beautiful Rangolis in front of the door..
In industries, people do Pooja of their machines, tools..
Admin. and accounts people do pooja of their books,registers..
All shops, offices, vehicles(private & public) are adorned with garlands of merigold flowers and mango leaves..
We meet relatives and friends and exchange leaves of a tree called "Apta" (We call them Gold Leaves)..
This day is very auspicious for starting new business, buying new house and appliances, inauguration of new ventures, and also a Muhurat for engagements and weddings..
In short, Dussehra is a big festival and people are in joyous mood..
