I don't think this is a valid question, he was left with no choice here. If you recall he did not want to do the surgery, but the CMs son was beyond reason incapable of even thinking how could a surgeon perform an operation with one arm in the sling 😲 So CM was literally dropped on top of Ashu's head or you could say injured arm! And further one was ready to help save Nidhi... so this was not a question of him asking!
