OMG the thread is already full😲GM Sujathaji! Sorry for being so late! Hv jst read the prologue n posting the review. Wud read the remaining chap n gv my review ASAP😕
The prologue is a heartwrenching chapter that is an amazing memoir written from the viewpoint of a child who has endured one of the worst case of abuse. I couldn't help but to flinch, to feel the pain and disappointment sought to convey from the begining until the end.
A child, huddled under the table watching through his fear filled eyes as the shadow of his father stomps by.
A child is supposed to escape into his imagination where a door magically opens on the closet wall behind him and he darts through it, into a world over which he can exercise some form of control. But for Ashu , who was dreaded by his emotionally unstable, alcoholic father a father who played tortuous, unpredictable games, life is certainly not a piece of cake .
Malvikaji was a fab writer she had the ability to go deep inside ur emotions n shape them up!
