So we begin where it ended and that's the two of them returning after their date. Once again Ashu's thoughts about Nidhi's reactions all day clearly show she does not believe his abrupt change completely but at the same time welcomes it. In fact she is compelled to respond to Ashu in his Tiger avatar. And yet every mention of her childhood or the interim 10 years bring down the shutters in a second. That line about Nidhi not having laughed out loud in the last 10 years is truly very very sad... first time Ashu has admitted that he missed his Chubuli. Well he and they are going in the right direction. But he has a lot of work to do to undo the first three weeks and make her believe in the change in him and stop her from getting so defensive.

Once again his attempts to mend fences with Yog and Nandini deserve praise. After giving them the cold treatment his attempts seem genuine as if he really regrets his behavior. It could also be that after the convo with Anji and Yog he has now realized that the Vermas have paid a heavy price indeed and it was time to let the past rest. So they are getting info through HK but at the same time they are saddened that their daughter has closed herself to them and does not share her life with them. Even Nidhi's response over the phone were controlled, she simply gave out facts about her day without any embellishments or added comments. And when it seemed that her mother wanted to talk about it she changed the topic.

thats more because she herself is not sure whats happening here...she is kind of confused and as you said, not able to trust the U turn in his behaviour.

The little confidence inducing steps he is taking is also very cute. In a lot of small ways he is telling Nidhi that he has not forgotten her in these 10 years and also tells us that he knows exactly what button to press to force Nidhi to respond in a positive manner and open up. He is trying to get some impulsive responses out of her and he is succeeding. He is also trying to send her the message that he wants to be her Tiger once more and will wait till she is ready to let go and become his Chulbuli again. And so far it seems that in spite of the 15 years between them they knew and understood each other very well. Maybe she knew him more than Aditi did!

i think you are right. the equation he shared with Aditi was definitely different from that of what he shared with Nidhi. one is of friends with Nidhi's hero worship added and one is that of a man and a woman in love. some times friends know each other better than lovers, right??

Once again the scene when he takes a sleeping Nidhi and tucks her in... again he mentally compared this to the first night. So seems like slowly you are going to reveal what Ashu felt when he was ill-treating Nidhi by comparing similar situations and showing a reformed Ashu. Well, Nidhi is responding well to this Ashu, the tie, the phone call, including Nidhi in the good news, asking about her lunch and then inviting her parents to celebrate, all were very good. Makes one doubt if this Ashu is truthful or is this an act? At the same time his convo with her parents in her absence gives us a feeling that even Ashu is tired of being angry especially with Nidhi after knowing that she is still suffering. It could also be guilt that being the closest to her he had let her down to face all those tough situations alone and even worse had not bothered to keep tabs about her... maybe he wants to make up for it now. I am sure he still wants to talk about that incident and the 10 years but he seems to be giving Nidhi time to open up... so hope soon they will have a heart to heart about that and hope Ashu will apologize for his hurtful behavior as well...

The dinner was a hit and so were the exchange of deserts and the night that followed seems to have been an extra-ordinary one. Finally Ashu kissed Nidhi, called her name and was in fact tender with her. This is in start contrast to before where he was basically unresponsive in the foreplay... an the T-shirt scene was cute. Ashu actually praised her hair... first time he has passed a personal comment about her and suggesting they go on HM to somewhere she would enjoy... if he continues like this NIdhi is soon going to be jelly in his hands. Hope he does not break her heart again!

Personally I think Ashu has started falling in love with the adult Nidhi. The fact that he was so in tune with the child Nidhi has probably made it easier...

though he may not recognize it. Even if he did not before, I think he fell in love with her when he carried a sleeping Nidhi and put her to sleep and stood watching her...😃
