A HUG FOR ALL SEASONS - PART A
Hello, upon requests from Sony, Sukirti and Roza to write something about Ashni's romantic gestures, I started writing this post. But as I got further into it I realized that there was just so much to cover that it was impossible to do in a single post. Upon further deliberation I decided to make this a colorful post. Rather than just write about Ashni's signature romantic gestures, I decided to include a multitude of caps, thus giving all of us another opportunity to enjoy the magic of this couple in their various flavors. This is a series of post and either one or two posts will be dedicated to each gesture. So, hope you enjoy and please give me your feedback.
Romance is in the air when Ashni are around. Their sheer presence exuded romance, every look exchanged, every word spoken, every little gesture, their body language, seemed to convey the love they shared. But it was not always so. Ashni's love was truly tested in the first year of their marriage and with each problem they faced their love also increased by leaps and bounds. As they grew as a couple one could feel the growth in the depth of their relationship just by the way they looked out for the other person before they took care of themselves. Through these posts it is my attempt to relive those golden moments and make them even more memorable. So lets take a walk down memory lane and look at what those gestures were that defined ASHNI Romance''.
Hug:
Yes, a hallmark for any romance, 'the hug'. But with Ashni we witnessed many different forms of hugs. Where their words ended their hug took over. Sometimes Ashni's hug could effectively convey to us what a long dialog would be unable to do so. Their many types of hugs had its own vocabulary. What started as a shy, tentative hug, an expression of their yearning ended up being a lifestyle for Ashni. The desperate hug on the lonely beaches of Kerala signified the start of Ashni's physical relationship. Then came the impulsive one-sided pre-engagement hug by Nidhi, with an uncertain Ashu unsure about how to respond. And towards the final days we saw Ashni seeking each other for an embrace at every occasion as if it was a ritual. Nidhi eager to hug Ashu after completion of her internship or Ashu in a trance rushing to Nidhi's side to give her a bear hug when she declared she wanted a baby or snuggling each other in their bedroom to celebrate her pregnancy news are some scenes that are engraved in our minds. Hugging had become a part of their routine, it was as important as eating and sleeping. They learnt to express themselves through their hugs. They understood each others feelings through these embraces and words seemed unnecessary. There were back hugs, front hugs, side hugs, big engulfing hugs and what not! So here are some of them important ones...😃
1. First hug in desperation out of fear of lossing each other both in Kerala and HM
3. First back hug during HM
4. First emotional, re conciliatory hug after Ashu stops Nidhi with the words "Leaving is not an option you have!"
5. Hugs in relief that things were fine and after facing some tough times they had come out victorious

6. Hugs as a part of making up after major fights, arguments, disappointments, etc
7. Hugs in presence of others, Ashni became so secure and confident in their love that even the presence of family or other strangers did not deter them from embracing each other
