Arre tum log jump karne ke liye kyon itna utaavle ho rahe ho for the wrong cause...We need to keep our energies for getting back Ashni with Season 2 and then to jump with joy for that...so baaki sab bakwaas bhul jayo aur filhal subh subh socho...😃

The story of ktlk didn't meet dead end bt ws badly hit by massive roadblock.. Cvs tried to sneak through the roadblock, little they knew that they will only end up hurting the passengers who were part of the journey right frm the start with them in midst of this risky adventure to sneak through the roadblock, most of the ppl just left them as they knew it wudn't take them to the desired destination bt will fall in bushes.. Cvs tried their level best to come up & make passengers hv faith in them that reason for roadblock wud get sorted out bt sadly it didn't.. Then came major hurdle that due to rough climate & strong signs of thunder strom(IPL).. The owner of bus said it's better to shut down as mausam ke badalne ki sambhavna bahut kam hain... Iss tour package ke sponsors ne saath chod diya kyunki unhe REAL REASON pata tha... Sponsors ko Business sense ki acchi jankari hoti hain..

KTLK lost its title sponsor ages back.. Reason .. failing trps

KTLK has quite many sponsors (9 atleast) from start... but going down the way..it reduced.. to a bare minimum ... all this is due to falling trps

When the said ROADBLOCK was not in play... still trps were suffering... else they din need to change the timeslot...

We can go n check the forum pages n see how much cribbing we (or atleast i have done) back in the days.. n that all long before the baby track. ..

The shows situation is a collective failure. .the biggest of it being the CVs who from the start failed to connect with the audience.. n kept shoving negative tracks down our throats..! Yes.. whatever happened after oct 12 is due to difference of opinion ..but like many said.. there are upteem examples of actresses quitting.. this very article talks of it...

The moot point being.. we have to look ahead... n try and get our show back..! Why dont we work collectively towards it??

This is what is required now
...no amount of arguing is going to change the situation that the show has ended for Season 1 - so lets just work towards getting the show back

Tanu ji, Like you said since last october'12.. The story hit roadblock.. This wat i am talking abt.. Since so many weeks, My povs & sme things are abt the that only.. Regarding, title sponsors, i knw it ws taken off within few months of the show.. I ws making point on co sponsors who just started to drop like pack of cards.. Trps kiske liye giri yeh sab ko pata hain(since oct'12)

Agree with both of you...yes, the TRPs were dwindling well before the Oct 2012 roadblock...

I would attribute it to a lot of factors...primarily, the indecisiveness on the part of the CVs...or was it the pressure brought on them by the Channel...who in turn were pressurised by the sponsors...but the fact is no time was given for tracks to play out,,,in their desperation to make things work, they were trying anything and everything...this is a reflection of lack of faith in your own content and approach,,,when they do not display faith themselves, what faith can they expect from an audience..

I think MB quitting the show also meant a lot of goodwill..,this would not have happened if another actor had been in his place from Day 1...this would have meant that the other issues associated with MB would not have cropped up...,however, that was not the case...typical Saas-bahu shows find it easier to negotiate actor replacement...when a show's success largely depends on the individual charisma of actors, the change of actors is bound to come as a blow...

Given the challenges, I thought the channel move to make it a late night show was not so bad,,,they were trying to consolidate the viewership that was split across two time slots...and it proved a good move,,,and then, Sharad had his leg injury...faced with this unexpected eventuality, the creatives had to come up with a back-up plan in a hurry..much as the forum may have disliked the Mallika track, the fact is it brought in the TRPs...

With Mallika's exit, for reasons best known to them, the creatives launched the baby track...this made no sense at all...there were many other options ahead of them like a good, solid professional track, Ashutosh's past etc...however, having gone down that road, they found themselves in a spot...having tasted success with Mallika once, they tried to bring her back...but unfortunately, it backfired...and thereafter the mess up continued,,,the roadblock proved too difficult to overcome...every track they followed thereafter only led them to the same road block..

When they knew this was a road block they could never overcome, and knowing that the show would never survive another actor change at this stage given the already doddering TRPs, the makers and the channel sensibly decided to call it quits...and Krithika's fatigue factor gave them an honourable exit...

They have kept the doors open for a Season 2... They have even dropped broad hints...possibly because they want to retain the goodwill of the show's loyal audience,,,which is still better than that of most of their other shows..no wonder they want to keep their options open,..and assess audience respone to a possible Season 2..

If the indications are in their favour and if they are able to resolve actor and other issues with regard to tracks etc, they may well come back with a Season 2...sooner than expected...!
