I think it is a bit of the chicken and egg situation, Harshal...the writer, rightly or wrongly, indicated that this was what would happen...and it has happened...

Anyway, as I see it, these actors quit shows either for personal reasons or when they find greener pastures...I am not saying fatigue is not a factor but then, you should be able to afford fatigue...lots of people do the same job day in and day out for decades together...but they have no choice since they have a family to feed...

For me, the bottomline is what you can and what you cannot afford...be they stipulations or fatigue!

In this case, Rajan Shahi has indicated that he could not afford to replace Krithika,,,because he could not think of anyone else in her place...this answers a lot of other questions as well...it is altogether another matter if this would have been his answer and approach if the show's TRPs were not what they were...

It is a business at the end of the day...I am not saying that people do not accomodate each other...but they certainly don't do it at the cost of their own interests...and that is the truth!

It is showbiz at the end of the day...not showcompassion!

P.S - I have been observing the hungama on other forums where actors have been replaced...these are hugely popular shows where the characters are pretty much iconic,...however, all this hungama remains in the virtual space...in terms of TRPs or audience, the shows remain rock steady...which clearly indciates one thing...that TV shows are not actor driven...KTLK itself has proved that..if your tracks and story are compelling enough, they will watch it...if not, too bad for you!

Sujata, sme of Ktlk tracks were overcooked.. Many loyal fans ran away frm watching the show on weekly bases.. RS indeed hd huge burden on him.. Though they very knew things may go the way they dnt want bt hd sme hope of turn around... Sadly it didn't.. @Deepa jayanti: See, I twisted ur line.. Exactly Harshal...the show had become a deadwood...they hoped and hoped for a turn around but it did not happen...instead the TRPs only slid lower...and they were running out of track options...under the circumstances, it suited them fine to accept Krithika's reasons of fatigue...The same RS did not think twice before replacing Sara Khan in Bidaai...when Ekta could replace the actor playing Tulsi Virani, Indian TV's most iconic character, then anything and everything is possible...

Frankly, stuck as they were knowing not in which direction to go, I think Krithika's fatigue excuse proved a lifesaver...it offered them an honorable exit!
