Main problem in Mallu bhutni track is that Ashu was too harsh to Nidhi. He could not realise her pain & sacrifice. If he just tried a little bit to understand Nidhi & keep some faith on Nidhi, then the scenario will be not so bad. One reason of Ashu's behaviour is his obligation towards Mallu for BKM & for this in that track BKM pardafash was very much necessary.

For me, Mallika was more evil, when after Ashu's return from accident , her behaviour with Nidhi. She lied Ashu when he just came back to sense. She tried every means to stop Nidhi meet Ashu when Ashu was at ICU & tarpaoing for Nidhi. If she loved Ashu , then she couldnot see him in distress.

Actually, Mallika liked Ashu & wanted to achieve him. She never loved him. She could not accept the fact that Ashu does not love her.She is only a friend to him. As Ashu never thought of getting married , she satisfied her ego by making a fantasy that she is the only one for Ashu but when Nidhi, a golden hearted girl, came to Ashu's life, her ego was shattered & she could not accept it & the evil in her came out.

Ashni and RAnji... this would have been a good way to proceed post Ranji marriage... no preggy Mallu no Ashni baby talk, just the life of these two couples... after all they were integral to the early KTLK...

So instead of making a joke out of every Ranji issue, they should have...

A. Shown Anji's problems adjusting to orthodox in-laws

B. Less support from Ranga who is in fear of his father and hardly raises his voice

C. Revelation to Ranga's parents that what Anji did before the wedding was an act

D. Getting mad and then Ranji finally convincing them and accepting Ranji

E. They hinted at Ranga's financial situation... that could have been an important Ranji issue

F. KSs interference due to the financial situation...

G. Anji used to spending more money and finding it difficult, maybe initially getting help from KS and Ranji having issues because of that

H. Then KS illness could have been a turning point... and things settle down for Ranji...

My point is the Ranji track should have been a strong side track instead of being completely ignored as it unfortunately was!

Through all this they could have shown the two couples helping each other, advising each other... some issues between friends like Ranji still going to the club, or disco, or dinner outside or movie and lack of social life for Ashni making Nidhi feel jealous. Then Ashu's better financial situation making Nidhi not think too much before spending some money like maybe a new car, but Anji unable to do so, making Anji jealous... if they wanted the possibilities were endless in this type f track, but alas!

Many actors in this show were completely wasted specially Ranji Would have loved if CVs have ignored all those Khushi Mallu n Daksh track and concentrated on Ashni n Ranji Maza ajataa

Mudra jo hona tha so ho gaya ..now so many ifs n buts left ...aisa hota , waisa hota ..n no doubt there was lots of scope in d show ...from starting there was very loose execution ...as it they never took their tracks seriously ..ranji issues kab aaye aur chale gaye pata hi nahi chala ...n about mallika she was in her character before ashni wedding but baad mein oh god she was terrible ...

completely agree with you Aarti..in fact, when they had introduced Ranga's parents that was what I expected...AshNi - Ranji...one age gap love marriage and one without age gap...different sets of hurdles in both...both couples helping out each other...

Mallika got married and left with Jagan. Then came back as an abused victim. From then on they could have handled the whole thing differently. They could have shown a genuinely changed Mallika..who is just struggling to rebuild her self respect and her life..and Ashu, as a friend helping her out...Nidhi fighting her feelings of possessiveness and at the same time trying to understand the 12 yr old friendship..etc...
