What if Mallika had not turned out a villian?

What if the pregnant Mallika has not turned out to be a villain?

Say, Mallika was abused, and a victim of domestic violence...and, she was sent back by the wife beater...

She was found by Ashutosh, rehabilitated and say, reinstated in the KGH it self.

Would she have counselled Nidhi to have children? Or, Would she ahve bhadkao Nidhi about mard...to gain some satisfaction...(if she didnot get, nobody should get)..


How it would be to have a constant comparison between AshNi and RAnji? Could we take it easily, AshNi having some reasonable MUs? Would it have been a great milan after such intense MU s?

What would have happened if Nidhi wanted to continue in the NGO and had to face real problems like, lack of facilities, lack of finances, grumbling oldies... in turn, switching her off and Ashu helped to calm down?

What if Ashutosh did not fire her first time... ( I hate that episode..though, Nidhi cried so convincingly in that)

what if BB returned and they all shifted to the makaan and had puraane yaadein of happy childhood days in that house were shown?

kaash, yeh sab hota...we would have had a better show today.

SO Mudra, as we were discussing two scenarios about the baby track. I feel this is what contributed to the story being pulled in all directions in the end...

Logically ea saab hi hona chahiea tha...Es ke leyee genius hona, ya koy pahad todna zarori nahi tha ...ya toh koy extravagant budget ke bhi zarurat nahi thee.. sirf thoda demag aur honest thinking ke zarurat thee...

Sigh.😔 What a waste..they have all talented actors...have never been used properly...feel sorry for Ranji, CB,DB...even they didn't properly utilize SK & KK's talents...most of the time cvs kept them busy in portraying similar situations ..
Chalo fir bhi this show is close to my heart only because of Ashu Nidhi,always a treat to watch this adorable couple...Hoping & praying hard for Season 2..

Ashni and RAnji... this would have been a good way to proceed post Ranji marriage... no preggy Mallu no Ashni baby talk, just the life of these two couples... after all they were integral to the early KTLK...

First, Mallika turned villain the moment she changed the medicine of a child just to get back at Nidhi and then crossed all the limits of decency to ensure that Nidhi sold the house...again two scenarios...

A. She could have been shown as a genuine victim and Ashni helping her. Mallu changes her opinion about these two, confesses what she had done and seeks pardon... and maybe , just maybe show the new Mallika and Armaan coming closer... he could ahve become her closest friend and supported her in her pregnancy and later they marry and Ashni help this couple...

B. Had Mallika turned to her old ways after Ashni helped her... then they could have brought in Bagchi in some way, revealed the house drama, Ashu returning the house to Mallu and once and for all break off this friendship... maybe she has a child by then. But decides to move to Australia unable to take Ashu's coldness...

Let us come back to the Baby issue later.
I dont consider Mallika a villain alltogether in the pre marriage stage... She loved him..I guess, an intensified love...and assured the nurse, that she will be there and never will make something wrong happen...and she was there...

even the file switching also, Nurse told Nidhi that ..the case file can be re made.. may be with the help of computer files...

So, That was only a strange way of go-getting what she wanted...

A. Yes... she could have been a genuine victim... but, if the TRPs wanted to show her as negative, I thought she could have turned out to be a sadist... like, talking sweetly to Nidhi, but poisoning her...
If had she changed over the time, thats good but, we wouldnt ahve accepted /digested just the way Daksh is a good boy now.

So instead of making a joke out of every Ranji issue, they should have...

A. Shown Anji's problems adjusting to orthodox in-laws

B. Less support from Ranga who is in fear of his father and hardly raises his voice

C. Revelation to Ranga's parents that what Anji did before the wedding was an act

D. Getting mad and then Ranji finally convincing them and accepting Ranji

E. They hinted at Ranga's financial situation... that could have been an important Ranji issue

F. KSs interference due to the financial situation...

G. Anji used to spending more money and finding it difficult, maybe initially getting help from KS and Ranji having issues because of that

H. Then KS illness could have been a turning point... and things settle down for Ranji...

My point is the Ranji track should have been a strong side track instead of being completely ignored as it unfortunately was!

Through all this they could have shown the two couples helping each other, advising each other... some issues between friends like Ranji still going to the club, or disco, or dinner outside or movie and lack of social life for Ashni making Nidhi feel jealous. Then Ashu's better financial situation making Nidhi not think too much before spending some money like maybe a new car, but Anji unable to do so, making Anji jealous... if they wanted the possibilities were endless in this type f track, but alas!

we have definitely lost a super chance to watch a real good show.

As, Roza said, to do all this..they dint even have some intelligent brains or heavy makeup budgets...
It would have caught more eyeballs..because each of the track would have penetrated into viewers minds as all these things do happen in any middle class families...
