No life without Baba - Epi 17/01/13

An emotional episode in which Ashu's desperation, insecurity and fear of loneliness has been revealed yet again.

CV,DB, Anji were all available for help...Liked the way Ashu bejhijak asked for CS for helping out in the household work...

Dubey's refusal to grant Ashu leave, left him thoroughly shattered...A minute ago he was expressing to DB that he wanted to be with Baba as much as possible...but his profession came in the way of that chance...His reaction was like a child possessive about his father and he sort of envied that in this case too Nidhi was luckier than him...She would be with him and he would have to deal with his akelapan at the hospital...

The scene in the bedroom ' Ashu inspite of having changed a lot and now sharing all his feelings with Nidhi ' he still cannot forget his dark corners...At the moment when Baba is slowly slipping away Ashu is thinking that there is no one for him...he does not even realise that he is now not alone ' he has his wife who is always with him and a strong support...he only realised the impact of what he said when Nidhi reacted asking him how he could talk that way...and that if this is the case then why is she in this house...Ashu was quick to apologise and explain abt his desperation...Nidhi also understood his helplessness and did not take the matter further...Now the one thing that was on both's mind was what would be Baba's decision...the two looked at each other for some time ' there was nothing to say until Baba gave his answer...

Next day we again got to see a unique KTLK type scene - The 2 of them sharing the same cup of tea...it was as if something which came naturally to them...they were seriously discussing about the surgery and still giving each other a sip of the tea ' equally. Ashu expressed that he would not have been able to manage things without Nidhi - but I felt that the last night's dialogue was still playing in her mind ' hence she did not say anything...

Baba's decision ' I felt that he was not wanting to rush into a decision immediately...he had earlier also said that aaram se sochenge...Hence he refused for the surgery just immediately...I feel that he will enjoy life for a few days, think over it and then give his decision...As of now Ashu's relief and Nidhi's disappointment was clearly reflected on their faces.

Precap ' There will always be a problem between Ashni regarding taking care of Baba ' while Nidhi is giving importance to Baba's desires ' Ashu is always worried about keeping him carefully...

Next week we may get to know of the final fate of Baba ' surgery or no surgery...and we will also get to see Baba trying to make the most of his life now

Very well written Kakoliji. Yes i agree with Ashu that when some near dear passes away a part of you dies too. He will always remain insecure as BB was the only dear one for so many years, yet when relaized his folly of saying that he would have no one once BB was gone he apologized to Nidhi.

Excellent analysis Kaks,Ashu will always be insecure because of his past Only his own flesh and blood can may be able to fill that void,no one else.atleast now we are seeing Ashu's interaction with Nidhi's family.And you are right,morning tea scene was KTLK exclusive and it came across so naturally and beautifully.I think they are dragging this track due to sharad's injury,may be by Wednesday we might come to know of BB's decision,dont forget Nidhi's gift is pending.

Nidhi is so strong and brave to face BB's pain, Ashu's pain , insecurities, anger and with that she is keeping her own hurts, own pains aside. My heart goes with Nidhi.
She handled CBs heart-attack so bravely and now handling BB's illness with equal strength. That's my Nidhi, our Nidhi, a rare combination of immense depth and childishness.

Very nice and perfect analysis. Can understand Ashu's behavior which is just out of fear to lose Baba. Whatever he is today is because of Baba. But still felt bad for Nidhi.
I liked the episode and again was very realistic. Most Men as a husband are like Ashu only. They cant manage without wife but don't accept easily.
