As much as most of us want all happy episodes i think today's episode is excellent very realistic emotions. All the emotions were so natural as you can see in real life

For each an every one of us, there is always a feeling that our parents are indestructible and nothing can happen to them. Even though our mind knows this is not true, somewhere in our heart we always imagine our parents to be exactly as they were when we were all kids. We may have grown into adults but we imagine that they would not have become older. And this is exactly what Ashu is going through, he is in denial.

If possible even Nidhi would love to believe that, but unfortunately she does not have that luxury, she cannot break down and hence is holding herself together with extreme difficulty. She knows Ashu relies on her for his sanity and she is his source of strength, hence she needs to be calm atleast in front of him and be his voice of reason.
