Sharad Kelkar takes to crime with Shaitan!

14/11/12 The actor who played the role of a demon in 1920: Evil Returns is all set to get into the criminal mind to decode intentions behind the wrongdoings in a show on Colors

Sharad Kelkar was last seen replacing Mohnish Behl in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge. Apart from that, he wasn't really visible anywhere else on the small screen. But no more, folks. The actor is all set to be back as a host on the show on Colors that's tentatively called Shaitan.

If the buzz surrounding this show is to be believed, it's an attempt at decoding what actually goes on in the minds of the criminals when they commit a crime. Hmm, and that makes us wonder about the idea behind this whole concept.

Did Colors feel left out from the race of crime shows – Crime Patrol on Sony Entertainment Television, Gumraah 2 on Channel V and Savdhan India on Life OK – that are selling like hotcakes on TV? Probably. And maybe Shaitan is the channel's attempt at making it's presence felt in this genre.
