We all know that a timeframe of two years had been agreed on with regard to a child. However, like most of the doctors on the forum have said, two years is nothing in terms of how long it actually takes for a doctor to establish himself or herself. And yet, real life doctors do not enjoy the benefit of the situations that the screen ones do. So, let us assume for the sake of argument that Nidhi achieves all that she wants to achieve by the end of two years. KPji has even said they may not exactly follow the calendar when it comes to Nidhi's professional success. It is clear that what is coming up is Nidhi's professional track. This means that they want to deal with that on a priority basis. For what reason, we do not know. However, her dialogue to HK and her self thought are clear indication that the focus is going to be on her career. Whether thtileill indicate that two years have passed at the end of this track or whether she will be shown as miraculous success, just like she did with the CM's surgery, remains to be seen.
What is certain is that they will show Nidhi achieving her ambitions sooner or later. Once that happens, where will they go next? At some point or the other in the show, they will have to come back to the baby issue. What happens then? Assuming that the actor situation, as explained by KPji, does not change, what would you prefer as a resolution for this?
A) The show ends with Nidhi's professional success and an indication of a possible pregnancy.
B) Nidhi wants more time to further her ambitions and Ashutosh agrees to that. Life goes on with random professional and personal issues.
C) Nidhi is shown as unable to conceive. They adopt a child. Adoption related issues are brought up. Or they go the surrogacy route.
D) Same as C except that Ashutosh is the one with problems.
Please feel free to come up with any other creative solutions. If you are wondering why I am making this post now, it is because this is an issue that is bound to rise in th show sooner or later. Thought it would more interesting to discuss this than discuss Khushi, who is anyway on the way out!
